I had the luck of having some of my game designs approved by my college which will provide me with a small fund to develop said designs so I can actually publish it. That, coupled with all my other classes and what not had completely devoured all my previously free time for an unforeseeable amount of time.

The elder arrived at our FOB two days after the suicide bombing.

After several months *cough cough year cough* I have published a new chapter in A Seemingly Familar Tail. If feels good to be writing again. Hopefully it won't be so long between chapter this time.

Yeah, I know, “How long will THIS last?” Is what you’re more than likely thinking, but I’ve got a plan this time.

Also, I MAY have to upgrade to a new laptop at some point, but not yet.

Soon enough, I’m getting back to work, got custom decks to make and stories to write.

It's no surprise I haven't done much lately. But hopefully I can change that soon. I've already got a neat little project going, now I just need to sit down and write my own good stuff_tm.

I guess since I have nothing else to say, I can talk about a storytelling device I love just to ramble about something so this blog doesn't end up feeling hollow.

Apologies! I was trying to find if there was some way to schedule postings of new chapters, and during my testing accidentally published the chapter I was using as a test bed.

Words spoken mostly by the English. We've been getting it a lot lately, and towns and villages around the country have succumbed to flooding. I'm all for enjoying the rain, but there is such thing as too much rain. Still, I prefer it over sun. Give me rain / snow any day of the year, but, please, Mr Rain Cloud, learn some restraint. Don't make me come up there, mister!

I finished writing Chapter 34 so I thought I'd upload this. I just need to get a few edits done for Chapter 34 and keep writing while I have this wave of inspiration and self-confidence so I can get this story where it should have been weeks ago.

I feel crazy... I can actually write coherent chapters again... It's like when I had the inspiration for The Lost Garden...

I finally got around to converting the bigger video of my last trip to Lujan Zoo, and Allan the lion. His two sons were in there as well. You can see that Allan really likes being petted. At one point he shifted to lean against me and I could really feel how massive he was. Such a big snuggly lion!

So, as you can see, not much is happening with Fire and Shadows. Let me make myself clear right now: I have no plans to abandon it. Zero. Zilch. None. Not happening. I hurt myself again. Doctor says it's called gamer's thumb so I have referral to see an orthopedic surgeon to see just how bad it is might need surgery. At least it's my left hand not my right.
