Hero sat down with his notepad, looking at Zenex. “So, you wanted to talk?”
“Mhm...” Zenex nodded. “Just need to vent.”
“Well, go on.”
Zenex sighed. “Well, you know how I survived getting torn in half?”
“Yeah?”
“Well... when Flutters found out, she got very overprotective of me.”
“Oh?”
“Hahaha! Okahahahay, that’s enohohohohough!”
*Lets the nymph up* “I still can’t believe you asked me to do that...”
*Sits up* “What? You didn’t have fun?”
*Shrugs* “Eh.”
“Well... um... are you ticklish?”
*Blushes* “N-No! Why would you even ask that?”
“Come on Hero, everyone’s ticklish.”
“Yeah? Well not me.”
“HAHAHAHAHAHA!”
“Well, how’d it go?”
“Hero’s grounded by Pharynx for a month. Maybe even two months,” Flutterwings answered, sighing. “You should’ve seen how pissed Hivehunter was when he found out what he did to you. Venom and the others weren’t safe either; they’ve been put onto field duty for two weeks.”
“Well... you forgive them, right?”
“Hey Zen! I gotta show you something!”
“Hm?”
“Watch.” *shapeshifts into a candy version of himself, his body turning into a gummy, his horn turning into rock candy, his legs turning into candy canes, his eyes turning into pepper mints, his mane and tail turning into cotton candy, and his fangs turning into chocolate. “See? I’m a candyling!”
*Mouth watering*
“Zenex?”
Zenex walked up to Hive, who’d been sitting on his bed. “Hey Hivey?”
Hive turned around. “Yeah?”
“Can I ask you something?”
“Sure, what is it?” Hive asked, setting his book down.
Zen trotted over and sat down beside him. “I heard this from the nymphs at the Academy, but... who is ‘Meat’ and why do they wanna beat him?”
Hive’s eyes widened and a blush formed on his face. “...”
“What?”
“N-Nothin’ Zen...”
Zenex trotted over to Dagger. “Hey Dag! Can I ask you a question?”
“Uh, sure what is it?”
Zenex took a breath. “Well, you know how I’m thirteen and Flutterwings is twelve?”
“Yeah?”
“So, I’ll be eighteen when she’ll be seventeen, right?”
Dagger thought for a bit. “Well, yeah I believe so. If the math adds up and her birthday isn’t on a specific date, then yes.”
“So, I’ll legally be an adult and she’ll be a teenager?”
“Yes Zen, get to the point.”
Zen sat in a class full of other nymphs his age. Hive had sent him to this class to try and socially interact with others. He looked around before pulling out a bag of chips, which he promptly began eating.
The teacher walked over. “Don’t eat unless you have enough for the rest of the class,” the reformed changeling said sternly.
Zenex looked at her, before pulling out thirty seven more bags of chips, which he proceeded to give out to the class.
Zenex laid in his infirmary bed, his lower half completely paralyzed. He slowly opened his eyes, hearing sighs of relief and and someone’s hooves around him. He blinked, then looked to see two red eyes staring at him.
“H-Hivey...?”
“Zenex! You’re alive!” Hive said, tears forming in his eyes, before he hugged again. Zenex was slightly surprised by Hive’s actions. Hive was never one for hugs. Or snuggles. Zenex hugged back.
*Hero stumbles around, until falling into Zen’s hooves*
“Ugh... Zenex...?”
“W-What happened to you?”
“M-Mind control... d-don’t ask...”
*Dagger runs over, disguised as a bat pony, before changing back* “Hey Zen, hey Hero.”
“I bucking hate you Dagger...”
“What? You said being mind controlled was one of your kinks.”
“Dagger... I will take that bi hoofband... and fucking hang you from it...”
(During the Pride Parade when Dagger came out)
The Fangs walked down the road, looking around at the crowd. As they walked, they noticed a pony sitting by a box with the words “Please Adopts Us!” on it. Inside were a small group of kittens. Zen took the most interest in the tiny kits.
Hive walked over. “Heh, cute right?”
“Mhm.”
Hive chuckled. “The pony said that they’re free for adoption.”
“Really?”
A changeling walked down the halls when...
"Ow! H-Hive!"
Their ears perk up and he puts his ears to the door of a room.
"Shh! Zen! Someone might hear you!"
"It hurts! Take it out!"
The changeling blinks. What?!
"Ow! Hive!"
"Stop squirming! It's only going to go deeper!"
"Please just take it out!"
The changeling stared at the door before stepping back, then turning and running.
Inside...
*Hero and Zenex trot through the armory*
“I dunno about this... what if Pharynx finds out?”
“He won’t, we just need to find something that doesn’t make a lotta noise and will wake the entire hive. Even if they find a mess, we can blame it on the Devil Horns.”
“Um... okay...”
“Come on Zen, lighten up.”
“Okay, okay.”
*Looks around until something catches his eye* “Ooh! How about that?”
Dagger ran up to Zenex and Hive. “Hey Zen!”
“Hm?”
“I have a dare for you.”
Zenex tilted his head. “What is it?”
“Try to not be cute!” Dagger chirped.
“W-What?”
“Dagger, it’s Zenex, how can he not be cute?” Hive shuddered a bit.
“I dunno. Void your bowels a bit?” Dagger sarcastically suggested. Not like Zenex would actually—
“O-Okay then...”
The other two looked over. “Wait wha—”
Zenex tossed and turned in bed, worrying the other Fangs. At first, they assumed it was a dream about what the Change Gang had done. Heck, they were surprised at how precise the surprise was. But it was apparent that it wasn’t the surprise.
Hive reached a hoof over, running it down Zenex’s neckfin. Zenex woke up and stared at him, before bawling his eyes out. Hive flinched slightly, but pulled him close. What was Zenex crying for?

Zenex smiled at Eclipse. The tiny kitten was curled up, sleeping. He chuckled and looked at his book. As he read, a group of nymphs ran in a snatched the kitten away.
“H-Hey! Get back here!” Zenex ran after them. He followed them to the nursery, where they’d drawn a circle with a star in the middle. Also in the middle, was a certain snow white kitten with blue and yellow eyes. “Hey! Let him go!”
The nymphs looked over. “What? Are you gonna tell Hivey—”
*Zenex snuck into an alleyway in Ponyville. He looked around. It was the dead of night. He stepped into a hidden trap door in a building*
“Master Pie?”
*Looks at him* “Hehe! Come forth, Apprentice Zenex.”
*Steps forward and bows* “I have perfected the Art of Randomness.”
*Smirks* Good. Now...” *reaches for something* “It’s time to par-tay!”
*Smiles* “Yay!”
“Okay Zen, welcome to Changeling Mating 101.”
“Yay!”
*Chuckles nervously* why couldn’t Hive teach you this...? “Okay, okay. So, I assume you know what your ovipositor is, right?”
“Mhm!”
“Heh, okay. So, I should probably teach you about orgasms.”
“Org-what?”
“Orgasm. It’s what happens when you have intercourse.”
*Hero and Zenex were playing with their toys*
*Walks an changeling dressed in army fatigues over* “You’ll never beat Private Cuddles!”
“Yes I will!”
*The two continued playing until...*

*They look over*
“What?”
“Heh, yeah. So typical that he’d be playing with baby toys!”
