Howdy, y'all! It's the first of NaNo, and I wanted to wish all my fellow NaNo campers good luck! I know I'll for one need it... I hope to get a ton of writing done this month, but we'll see what happens! On a related note, I did push myself to finish the second chapter of Just a Pony today, so progress is... slow, but happening. Nothing more to say on that really, but other stuff under the cut.
I think I'm doing it against my will now. Lots of words, big chapters, bigger and harder to fit into the eye-holes. Dirty joke in there somewhere.
Doing research for my story, Visitation, I've been reading a lot about Aztec culture, particularly centered around death. It's very interesting, though I may have to fudge a little in order to make the story work. Specifically, only women who died in childbirth tended to return as ghosts, which... does not work given the scenario I need to set.
