I'm trying not to spoil stuff, both for the benefit of those wanting to wait for the story to finish and for those who want to read To Perytonia as untainted as possible. I respect the heck out of that, but I also really want to talk about the story as we go. Today, we're talking peryton!

After Bronycon, I decided to hike a bit at some parks in Maryland. The first was an old favorite, Big Gunpowder Falls. I found a spring in the side of a feed stream and built a little enclave of rocks around it after cleaning it out. If my construction is still there next year, I'll have to take a picture of it.
I wonder if I should do more short stories in the future. People seem to like "When The Kindness Ends" a lot, while my incomplete adventure story is not getting almost any attention. Or is that because of the OC? I have got the impression that people don't really like OC's all that much. I can't understand why.
Which marks ten consecutive years of writing at least one fic a year, I guess. Thus, we'll celebrate with a feast and crimefighting.

Sorry for the shorter chapter- just wanted to have a short one that isn't like a combination of a date and sad ending so I ended it on a high note and yeah Amethyst is acting weird- that's what happens when the town decides the new girl is much more awesome at magic and organization and yet again a reference to Mysterious Mare Do Well and Rainbow Dash failing at helping people.
The month of love is well upon us at this point. I imagine there will be a large number of shipping stories hitting us soon, so that's kinda neat.
In my neck of the woods, I don't have any romantical stories ready for this month. I did put out my first M-rated story this month, though. It's fun nonsense. I've got at least one more story planned for this month, though, so keep an eye out relatively soon.
Not gonna lie, pretty damn nervous to post these new chapters for One in the Same Thing (and a Packed Crowd, but not as nervous for that one).
I put hold on the Dazzling Sunset miniseries I've got going so I can focus on it, but that doesn't make me any less nervous. Still, hope you all like it when I'm done.
Feckin christ this sickness has taken a huge chunk of my spirit out of me. I'm on day 4 of being sick and today I'm currently in bed with my laptop streaming Steven Universe with a bucket close by. For those that were worried about the slow updates for BIE I greatly apologize. I had no intention of catching this damned illness so both me and my roommates are all currently laid up.

At least here in Europe it's already new year...
2018 was... pretty stressful for me. More college, more work, my sister now has a dog. So I'm hoping 2019 will be a better year for me and that I'll manage to do a bit more on this site again. Though at least I'm making somewhat regular posts now, so there's that.
Anyway, again I wish you a happy new year 2019!
Well, after the last few tweaks to Scootaloo it was peanuts to make Rumble in Inkscape, in full this time, not just a bust like it was for Upside to Your Backside.

It'll be a while, and it'll be a few thousand words long, but I've wanted to write this for a while and, damn it, I'm going to. If you don't want some sweet sads, introspection, and bittersweet resolution, that's your business.
