This idea is my reaction to a story I read on this site. As usual when this happens, I need to emphasize that just because I’m writing down my idea, that doesn’t mean that I think the original idea sucks. Just that thinking about one led to the other.
The story in this case is Comet the Colt of Steel.
In the sequel for my For Honor fic, I was thinking of putting a Game of Thrones feel to it. I've already come up with a few nicknames for the characters.
Wulfric-The King in The North/The Iron King
Big Mac-The Mountain
Luna-The Night Queen
Marshall-The Enforcer
There's a high school in Missouri called Clopton. I'm sure there's a plot nugget in there somewhere to exploit.
Also, there's a college/university called Alcorn State. I'm sure it's the second-favorite higher education institute of all winged and horned beings, after Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns.
Massage stories are quite prevalent as a person that actually works with techniques i figured i could provide descriptions. Pegasi have me completely confused however.... the way their muscles would work and the treatments they would need (especially the wonderbolts) to keep them in top shape. obviously the wings themselves would be sensitive but in the excerpt below from the story "The Discovery" i haven't quite figured it out. I keep a folder of pictures that are potential story ideas on Derpibooru. I was actually able to take one of them off earlier today, since I'm nearly finished with the concept. (It's my Jinglemas entry, so I won't say anything more.) In that vein, I thought I'd show a few along with some thoughts on them:
James held the jacket's collar up to his nose. The snow was falling quite heavily, but he couldn't go home until the job was done. The lookout finally signaled him with a hand mirror and a laser pointer. He rubbed his hands together as he began walking towards the convenience store.

I kind want to also write a sweet fanfic about the bonds of friendship between the two. Because I haven't done that yet. Like there's a strong bond of love, but not really romantic or sexual love. A little of history, when I started writing in earnest I set out a goal in front of me: I wanted to create a story that parallel the concept of some of the stories I liked.
I created I will kill you yet Discord and Quest for earth pony magic in response to my liking of Past Sin and Foal Necromancer.
I created Darkrise because I am a Spike Fan in earnest.

I wanted to make it up to you guys for not posting anything here, so I decided to do something a bit... different.
Unfortunately I was a bit skeptical as to where I should post this. Obviously what I want to do is not allowed on Fimfiction, so I was considering adding it as a blog post instead. No dice, wouldn't let me post it.
So next case scenario, add it to my website. I'll let you know how this goes. Already have the first one done and everything.

Hello to anyone that cares to take notice of this,
I have a new story idea that I want some feedback on (mainly if you think its a good concept should I decide to write it).
Basically: Equestria is contacted by an alien race, and scrambles to organize for their first face-to-face conversation with alien diplomats when they land in Canterlot. However, when the "aliens" come down in their landing shuttles and disembark, Princess Celestia and the Mane Six see some very familiar faces.
I was watching Isaac Arthur's video on First Contact with an alien civilization video the other day. It really got my mind going about how a lot of first contact stories I've read here are rather unrealistic.
For those who don't recall or didn't see the prequel to this blog, I maintain a gallery of Derpibooru images with story idea potential. While looking through them last night, I realized I could check one off. Seems like as a good an excuse as any to showcase a few more.
