I'm quite happy with the response with #7 so far. Seems the vast majority of you loved it, and I'm tickled pink about that since so much important stuff finally paid off this time around. A few tweaks from the sound of it needed, but nowhere near the rewrites that #5 needed or that #6 is, sadly, still in need of.

Sadly, I haven't quite had time this week for diving into that type of editing.

Just finished up the final rough.

104 765 words, 454 pages of talking heads.

Compared with the last rough that was 184 838 words slash 743 pages? Still a bit on the heavy side, but an impressive trimming of fat nonetheless.

By now you guys know how my guesses tend to turn out, but I think the rest should take about 80-100 K words, spread over about 6-8 chapters.

So, some good news, bad news time.

I just finished my term of employment a few days ago. Contract was up, and I left with a two-pronged glowing new mark on my CV from both the place I actually worked at and the local government agency that put me there, so it was a year well spent.

The 'problem,' is that I made such an impression, that I'm getting reshuffled into another year-long position ASAP (Tuesday).

Not much to say tonight, aside from the fact that you can finally expect a new chapter of Sunset in Ponyville to come out tomorrow!

Oh, and I may not post a status update tomorrow since I'm at kind of a low progress stage of things with Synchrony. But if something happens, I'll be sure to let you all know.

It's the end of the third week of NaPoWriMo, and since I actually did a meaningful amount of work this week I figured I'd actually check in.

I only got 546 words done today, but that's okay - I finished up chapter 7 of Sunset in Ponyville! And, of course, started the initial editing work on the super-long chapter 6 which I will finish and send off to my proper editor tomorrow.

Another 1,074 words written! I feel better about them than I have some earlier parts in the chapter, so that's good. I also expect to be finished with this chapter tomorrow, which is even better! Which means I should be able to start work on the Synchrony revamp soon...

But for now, my word count total for the month is a solid 12,341. I hope everyone is doing well!

Not only did I finish my initial edits for Sunset in Ponyville 6 and pass the chapter along to Applety, but I also got in a solid 1,117 words for the next chapter of Synchrony as well!

Not much to say today - business as usual more or less, with a further 1,108 words done for Sunset in Ponyville. Still want to come up with a few more artifact ideas, though, but those will come in time.

My current total stands at 17,499! Lol one off of an even 17.5k...

It's another day of good news! Not only did I write a whopping 1,273 words today, but I also got word that, after a few last edits, the new chapter of Sunset in Ponyville will be ready for publishing! Look forward to it tomorrow, dear readers.

Well, somehow I managed to get 1,088 word written today! The first 866 were regrettably a bit of a slog, and I'm still not entirely certain I'm satisfied, but they're done. The other 222 are pretty good though!

Today was a good day for me! So I hope it was good for all of you too. I got a very nice 1,204 words written for chapter 15 of Synchrony, and got the next chapter of Sunset sent of to Applety too! Even better, the stars may just have aligned with that particular piece of editing, meaning it should be ready for publishing sooner than normal!

Got another 1,108 words done today! Putting me at 3,205 for it! I'm plugging along quite nicely. And, perhaps, I've found the way forward I need for the chapter...

Words flowed better today in a sense, even if I only got 1,075 written. Dunno what to make of it exactly, but I'm not complaining.

We're just about two-thirds of the way through May, and I'm right on target with 20,494 words written. I hope the rest of you are meeting you own goals this month!

Got 1,043 words written today, though I'm still feeling kinda so-so about the chapter. I was kinda hoping I'd be done by now back when I was envisioning this month... Oh well, it'll be done when it's done.
