I finally got around to watching it, so here's what I thought:
At first, I was scared about where they were going with it, although all was well within. I cringed the whole time, though.
I liked how they gave Big Mac some good characterization and the speech at the end.
8/10, was a decent episode, although it scared the life out of me.

When does Fluttershy get sibling bonding, huh? When is it Fluttershy's turn to participate in the Sisterhooves Social? When is it her turn? ANSWER FLUTTERSHY! WHEN DO I GET A SIBLING!?

Anyway, this is another episode that runs parallel to the episode last week, this is Applebloom doing the Sisterhooves Social with Big Mac, and it was quite the thing.

Okay, I know there's more to it than that. After watching the episode, I've decided to weigh in on it.
In view of the recent blog posts that have filled most of your timelines, I think some measures of mental hygiene are warranted. In times of conflicts, low wages, rampant housing insecurity, riots, a global pandemic, and the all-around destitution of the public sphere, it is important to be aware of how discourse is used, meddled with, and even weaponized.
It still needs to be said that black lives matter. It does. There is no question about it. It is not negotiable.
I just haven't been talking about it.
But, I must ask, is this whole "Fluttershy's Brother" new to anyone else? They said it was revealed at Comic Con, but I've only heard it now.
Like, literally only five minutes ago.
