Season 5 included some pretty good songs, and some duds. But there were a few songs that really stood out, and had to be added to the list of the show's best songs. Because of that, a top ten just wouldn't have sufficed. So instead, a top fifteen is in order. Season 6 introduced us to plenty of new character, some more memorable than others. So now it's time to take a look at the ten best new characters to grace us with their presence in Season 6. A quick word of note, Sunburst doesn't count since he was technically established as a character at the end of Season 5 (albiet as a colt). And like all my lists, this one is by no means official, so feel free to disagree.

And today we're going to take a look at the episode openings that for one reason or another, among the 143 episode openings, missed the mark and started their episodes off on the wrong foot. With "Newbie Dash" coming out yesterday, I thought it'd be as good a time as any to share my view on how the episodes stack up so far.
1. "On Your Marks" - In my time in this fandom, I've learned that I'm a sucker for CMC episodes, and this one did not disappoint.
2. "Newbie Dash" - I think all the characters were very well-written in this episode (especially Rainbow and Pinkie), and it only just missed the top spot

Alright, let's try this again. It's time to look at all 195 episodes of the show now that Season 8 has come and gone, and see just where they fall. Even just a one sentence explanation for every episode would take way too long and leave us here forever and ever, if so you're curious as to why a certain episode ends up where it does, just ask. Not everything about Season 8 was bad. Contrary to what you might all believe, I don't absolutely despise Season 8, there are episodes I like that no one else seemed to enjoy (like "The Maud Couple", "Surf and/or Turf", "Molt Down", and "The End in Friend"). With Season 7 now over, and the movie's songs having been out for a while, I think it's time we bumped up the list to 25, even if (spoilers!) most of the songs won't really change positions. The biggest surprise is gonna be in which songs are added from where, and how they'll stack up.
