I've been mostly quiet here, but I actually have a bit stirring around here. School is still cutting into potential drawing and writing time, but I do have three chapters of a longer new story mostly done. I haven't posted them yet because I'm still torn between two ways to have the story develop and depending on which I choose I may need to re-write parts of what I already have. It'll get up here before too long though.
I asked if y'all wanted to some previews of upcoming stuff and the answer was yes, so here's the inaugural Sunday Peep Show.
First, from Spring Has Sprung, chapter two:
Glacier nodded as he stared at the knuckles of his right hand. Two of them had blood on them; his father's blood. The sight of it started to make his stomach churn as what happened about twenty minutes earlier had finally set in.
I mentioned in one my previous blogs, I believe this one --> Click, that I would create some chapter art for specific chapters while writing for the new chapters - and some character art alongside it - well this is preview of one of those chapter drawings.

Here comes the clue for the next story. And yes, I said "clue" and not "clues", let me tell you why.
Before we get to the clues for my next story, there are some notifications I have to clarify doubts and points.
First, this is going to be my most ambitious project to date and this will be, by far, my longest story (which means I'm not going to add it to The Writer's Group and Struggling Authors until it's 100% complete).

I haven't write an original story in a long time, and this will be my first attempt in a long time to do a genre I've never been into before. This is hard, specially if you consider that my last story (Rossy & Patricia), although had reasonable good reviews (and that's a miracle considering my previous darkfics struggled to have a following!), it also didn't bring the results I expected.
One of my Oh God This Is Going To Take Forever stories is Twinkle Twinkle - Speaker to Dragons, which I'm working (slowly) on for over a year now, and I'm about on Chapter 8. I've got a snippet below (Chapter 4) where Twinkle is adapting to captivity, and her captor is finding out just how weird a creature it is she's captured.

I've decided to do, at least, ten more stories, to keep me active and to not leave you guys with anything while the chapters of Behind the Laughter are written. I doubt to reach this number, but I have some new ideas I want to try. I'm firm to my decision of Behind the Laughter being my final project, these are only my side dish.
...on SciTwi Shimmer-Book 7.5. Chapter 1 is about 66% completed which I'm hoping I can knock out at work tonight so I can start chapter 2 tomorrow. Here's another small tidbit from the story:
Sunny's parents and sister were already at the table eating breakfast when the two of us dragged ourselves downstairs.
"Good morning, girls," her mom said cheerfully. "Did you two have fun yesterday?"

The creative process is always fun to witness, my own or others. Especially when I can look back and marvel at my own derpery.
