I woke up this morning
Maybe that’s a start
But waking up to a nightmare
Every day just breaks my heart
I fight for my right
To stay in the light
But in the darkness dwells
My own living hell
When I look in the mirror,
A stranger stares back
When will the outside

I scream to the gods,
“Why me? Why now?”
Yet again, I am talking about my inactivity. This may be short, but I still wanted to say it. I'm sorry, and I'll try being more active
Anyways, are there any subjects in My Little Pony that would make for great poems?

Another year I walk the sands
They shift and change beneath my feet
Yet through it all I walk.
Another year I see the others walk the sands
Some falter and slip beneath the sand
Others lay roads for still later others to tread
The roads vanish beneath the sands
And yet they are the sands themselves
So perhaps they never were, or still are
Some do not walk the sands like I
They slide and glide upon the expanse
They move faster, yet they fall harder than I ever have
Each of our ponies has an lovely name
But repetition is terribly lame
So swap character names for a pretty word
Something sweet, something floral, or simply absurd
We need to choose the right phrase to adorn
Our favourite lavender unicorn
And portray the awesome supersonic fire
Trailing the wake of a rainbow tailed flyer
Elegant parlance should be chosen with care
The talk of a dazzling white unicorn mare
But to match Ponyville's premier pink party filly
In a world of ponies he is sent
A threat to them all he doesn’t want to present
To find a mare to call his wife is what he must do
To prevent from exploding
and ruin the world he’d come to

So, after one week of enough shifts at Good Burger to lose my bodyweight in sweat, and a second week of being destroyed by a mixture of ritalin tolerance and ritalin withdrawal, my writing speed has slowed down slightly from its recent "novella in a week" pace. It hasn't stopped though, by any means, so I'm going to tease you with skaldic poetry!
Hello, FimFiction! I'm new..... Yay..!
I think this blogging idea is genius, and I haven't seen any other fanfiction site do this sort of stuff before. Well, then. I will be posting maybe next month, (Since school is getting really hard, to be honest.) And, are there any requests? I'll take any ideas at all! Ugh, i've been going through this massive writer's block, and am just getting back into MLP.

For context, I wrote this for a Fallout tabbletop game a couple years ago.
I threatened to do this and didn't manage to talk myself out of it. It's not exactly a recap, but I hope it's a decent illustration (in fourteener triplets, for some reason) of what the weekend was like for me. Thank you very much to everyone who helped make it that way. If I interacted with you at the convention at all, there's a shout-out in there somewhere. Oh, and a few right up front...

Discourses until it is hoarse, of course,
I figured I'd share some of the poems I have here to make a timeline of when these poems were written, and also to give a tiny sneak peak at some of them. I hope you all enjoy! There's going to be at least 30 poems in the final book, and I'll post about it here when the time comes! After that, I hope to finally be ready to move back onto The Paths we Carve. I have all my notes prepped, and they're pretty much finalized. I just have to finish writing out the actual prose.
Six little ponies stood side-by-side.
One went out quietly, with hardly even a sigh.
Five little ponies stayed steadfast friends.
Another sought adventure, but met their end.
Four little ponies watched the years fly by.
One more would pass, before another one would die.
Three little ponies-- their friendship unsurpassed.
The next to pass was certainly not the last.
Two little ponies shared in their sadness.
It wouldn't be long before one slipped into madness.
