Hey everypony, just thought I'd drop a line and let you know that MLA: Perihelion has been published on schedule, and is now available to read!

Well, after a couple of weeks on being posted, it seems I need to chop up the prologue into smaller pieces so that people don't get overwhelmed with too words. For the people who have read the original post, thank you for checking it out. I'll have this thing back up in a couple of days or sooner it all goes well. I'll even separate the 'clop' for the people who only want to read that part alone.
See you in a few!

Well, it's 6:10 AM where I live..... and well, I have been up writing like 9 PM last night. It might sound a little crazy but I'm very serious about writing this story! Needless to say, I'm exhausted at the moment and in desperate need of sleep, I can literally hear the bird out side my window.. oh god.. I'm.. rambling... Sorry, I'll try to keep this short and on track. I'm very serious about this story and I really want it to be good. I wrote one chapter the night before
Based on what people have told me, I'm a decent editor. So much so that I could probably charge for my services. Nothing much, I don't think, but having a neat little side deal to make some dough is a fun idea.
I'm thinking of starting around $5 per chapter, which feels like a decent starting price.
The Fourth Story in the NegotiationsVerse is now in editing. Hopefully, I'll get it out this weekend, but we shall see.
In the meantime, enjoy this non-edited part of the story.
Oh, Gawd!! I'm soooooooooo tired! It's 5:30 in the morning and I've been writing for... I think... 15 hours?!? But the prologue is finally done. I just need to edit and spell check and I'll have this thing posted by my deadline. Here's the stats I have for it so far:
24,400 words
134kb file
Over two hours of Text-To-Speech reading
This was a difficult week for reading, and it also holds the record for the most number of words read in a week for these reviews. Even stretching the reading period to encompass an extra two days, I was still reading around 24,000 words a day. While I don't mind doing a lot of reading, it does make it tricky to keep up with my schedule. With this in mind, I've decided that from now on if any reading set for a week exceeds 200,000 words then my reviews will come out on Tuesday instead of Monday
The first part of my first posted story is now approved and ready for reading. A couple of people have been saying that this intro is too long. Well, true. It's long. However, you don't have to read the whole thing in one go. I thought about chopping it up but it didn't feel right to me. And I wanted to make sure the main character(s) was/were in the proper time frame and location before the actual first chapter.
So take your time and enjoy the read. No need to rush.
This is the letter that got Charlie Yu his job at Sweet Apple Acres in the first place, when he was previously being supported by payment from the Treasury and his life administered by Twilight Sparkle. It obviously pre-dates An Epistolary Legal Consultation Between Princesses by about half a year.
Dear Princess Celestia,
I was just able to release the first two chapters of my new story Why The Long Face!
Dispite some technical difficulties with the web site, I was able to post it a tad later than expected.
I really hope everyone who supports me will read it because I'm super excited about it. It feels like some of best work I've done so far.
If you like HIE at all try to give it a look.
Thank you and please, have a nice day.
I’ve ranted in the past about how FiM breeds wish fulfillment, and how crossovers fundamentally violate the Law of Conservation of Detail. I mentioned in the latter that Human in Equestria has similar problems. Oddly, despite having similar problems, HiE also has other problems that are all its own (despite crossovers often involving humans anyway).
(i.e. a ramble about linguistics and, to some extent, 'headcanon', although this was really meant to be a "What do you think?" post, assuming that after reading this wall of text, someone might actually want to reply :/)
Hi all. Not sure how many people read this. But I'm sure people will see it soon enough. As of right now, I just finished (I think) the 'clop' part of the story prologue. I did a word count and the clop alone is just over 4000, while the total word count is almost 9700. This has been a good workout for my brain. Once I got started, I just couldn't stop coming up with more stuff to add. The other day I caught an error that I had to fix. But it turned out well. I'm thinking I should be completely
Anyone remember her?
So way back when I decided to make MLA into a trilogy. I got to work on it, then PaP took off and work had to stop. The universe has been languishing with an unfinished trilogy all this time, and I wondered if I wasn't ever going to get to it.

Alright fillies and gentlecolts, here's a review I've been wanting to do for awhile, ever since I did the first review of this fic in fact, but I've been so distracted lately I haven't had a chance to do it.
Hi, everyone. My very first story has been submitted. The mods kicked it back on Friday for a minor error that has been corrected. Now it's on the way to be truly posted. I was hoping for it to be up by the 29th but the mods are quite busy. So just be patient and it'll be up soon. :)
I came up with an idea I've never seen around here before. Problem is, not only does it center on an OC, it also involves one of my least-favorite characters in the series. Of course, one of the points of the story will be to give that maligned character some hidden depths, and also to have the OC be original, and not just a bland author stand-in. So, who wants details? (And no, it has nothing to do with the content of my last blog post...)
Morning!
So, I'm like ... 7,000 words behind on my NaNoWriMo project, and I'm definitely in the 'arg this doesn't work everything is terrible' phase. Part of the problem is I don't give the characters enough time to snark and talk to each other, as dialogue is one of the few writing things I'm good at. Also, y'kno, motivations and stuff.
