Why do fans of kids shows insist on rigid continuity and timelines for everything... and yet, they're perfectly fine with the main characters not aging in primetime animated series like The Simpsons, Family Guy, or Bob's Burgers?

Has it never occurred to anyone that FiM and Equestria Girls is operating on those same rules? The characters just don't age and time doesn't move forward unless the story dictates they should?

After what happened with my work for the story Glow writing contest I feel unsure about what to do. I did plan on my main story getting darker as it continues. The only saving grace was going to be that everything would work out in the end.

Just a quick update about what has been going on recently and why I haven't really been writing this past month and a half.

Family and I have been packing to move to another state and our last day in California is on the 21st. We will be making a two day trip across the country and once we get settled (along with me finding a new job) I will get back to writing.

Well, when I first got onto Fim, I was too shy to even favorite something, or comments, so how would someone who was that shy even considering posting a story online? See?
Even after that, I compared my writing to some stories I really liked, but my writing then was bad. I cringe sometimes when I look at it. Luckily now my writing is decent, I think.

Wow, time flies really fast. Can you imagine that? October 10, 2010 was the date that started it all. October 10, 2019 marks 9 years of making friends, solving friendship problems, learning about friendship, going out on adventures, and saving Equestria from danger.

It was a good and joyful run. Sadly, there's 3 episodes left for the entire series that will air on October 12, so prepare yourselves for a tearful and bittersweet farewell.
