Is Yu-Gi-Oh a thing again? I keep seeing Yu-Gi-Oh fic popping up in the new stories feed. Also, can we just acknowledge that the GX theme has stupid lyrics. but great music.
I KNOW IT'S STUPID, SHUT UP
Well, it has been done for a while now, but this has been my longest chapter in "Elements" to date. I was honestly trying to cut it back twice now (once in the previous chapter "The Flameout"), but I found I needed to cover alot within the two chapters anyway... so, yeah.
In any case, next chapter will be up next week, and the final chapter of Part 5 will be done and up by the week after.
No huge blog today, but I still have things to talk about.
It's coming up to that time of year again, isn't it? Time for festive cheer, to wear corny but comfy sweaters, to eat a crap ton of food. It's the time to receive but also give, except trying to wrap all those presents is a pain in the ass why even bother, y'know? You're just wasting paper, dat ain't very cheery. Don't the trees get presents too? Burp on a tree this Christmas, give it your carbon dioxide.

You know that time when you actually sing for your family? Well, I just sang What A Wonderful World, it was a favorite of mine when I was a kid. I really hit the accent well too. And guess what - spoiler alert: nobody was listening. So, ya... Remind me not to actually try in front of other people. It's not worth it. 
Let's say I looked exactly like this when I finished and asked how I sounded, and found out nobody noticed.

But still working through said issues in that I have literally one month before graduation. So counting down to that but I still have around fifteen pages to write before the 14th for two papers and like a 2 to three page interview of a Sikh and a 7 to 9 page paper over Sikhism.
And I want to write fun stuff but I can't right now because of those things
Inb4 someone unfollows me. 
So, the last time I did this, I had around 100 followers. That was the start of July. In 4 months, we've managed to quadruple that number.

What a weekend... I’m back from my first Everfree Northwest, and certainly not my last. My wife and I had a great time attending panels, meeting people, participating in contests… but I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s start with the shoutouts. I met a lot of people. In no particular order:

As you may be aware, The Writeoff is a great place where awesome people hang out, and sometimes we even get around to writing stories. Usually these stories are about ponies, because, you know, what else is there to write stories about?
When I said it'd be out in a week or two, I didn't expect me to then complete it like four days later. Not recommended but I was in a zone.
Don't ask me how I wrote pretty much 8k words in like a week. I don't know how I did it. (Note: some of that was lost in multiple edits, but the story just spilled on out once I got to a part) This had a disgusting amount of rewrites on my end throughout the entire chapter.

Right, so this blog will be me simply bitching. There seems to be a sort of magic that comes when I talk about things that bother me. They tend to go away. So by talking about it here, I hope to clear the air with myself, my writing and my writing of clopfics in general. Hopefully by doing so, I can empty all the excess bullshit that been filling my head and focus on posting fics.
