What with the last two episodes being concerned with the very earliest pieces of FIM's lore, and this being July, roughly around the time I got into the fandom four years ago, (Sweet Celestia, it's been only four years?) I decided to show you this:

Okay, so, I've mentioned that this is happening in a few scattered places, but not in one proper announcement post: I'm writing a novel-length fic (currently nearing 70,000 words and counting) that will have every chapter illustrated by Bevin Brand, who worked on Equestria Girls! Woo!!!
That said, there's a few questions I'd like to answer (along with some teaser images from Bevin!)
So...remember in my last blog post when I said that I was planning a major re-casting of the future villains in the story, where I replaced the mysterious Crystal King with Rex Storm, the Kingpin of Crime...while Sombra has become the supervillain known as Mister Negative? Well, here's a sneak peak at some designs I've thought of for them both.
Phew! Four Months without your own laptop is tough!
My laptop screen had broken randomly one day. Long story short, a loose hinge that was threatening to break the casing on the laptop actually damaged the cord connecting my screen to the motherboard. I handed the laptop to my friend's dad, who is a professional at fixing computers/internet stuffs.

I've decided to finally publish something instead of holding onto it for eons out of fear of it being terrible. I've got to stop letting doubts and perfectionism cease my progress. Can't get better if there's no feedback.
So, here's the first chapter of this shortish story. My previous blog post was about this story. It follows three different viewpoints, and a variety of solo viewpoints. The three mains are Moon Dancer, Twilight Sparkle, and Sunset Shimmer.
I'm %120 a Brony guys I promise. Like what about the best pony Twinklight or whatever.
I'm typing this at 2:15 AM and trying to come up with something witty and clever to write about.
Unfortunately, chapter 29 of Magisight is still not yet ready for release. BUT, we're getting close! IRL is unpredictable as always, but the chapter is roughly 70% or so done. At this time, I can't say for certain exactly when it will be out, but I do not plan to wait another two full weeks unless it's necessary. Once the chapter is edited, polished, and proof-read, I'll put it up ASAP, whether that's a Monday, a Thursday, a Sunday, doesn't matter. With any luck we'll return to our normal-ish
I've mainly noticed this after writing particularly emotional scenes, like a flashback I just wrote for chapter 15. ((I wrote 3 or 4 chapters ahead, and edit the next one to be posted as I go)) It can be emotionally draining to write some scenes, especially thoughts involving traumas that the characters experienced. It can be kinda rough! I can't even imagine how hard it'd be to write a story like Murky Number Seven or Pink Eyes, with how dark those stories can get at times. It's honestly super
The dreaded day we all feared has finally come, another delay!
Ashamed to admit, I'm way more proud of that title than I should be. So the May Pairing Contest was something I saw advertised last year, and on a whim, I thought I'd give it a shot since trying to figure out the dynamics of two characters you never see interact in the show itself is an interesting writing challenge. What came out was Plus Ones, and although I wasn't completely satisfied with the story it did receive a good amount of praise.
Well, the canadian basket case decided to “react” to something I wrote, but instead of just focusing on whatever he decided to use it as an excuse for some “promo” to show how he is in fact totally owning me in some regard. All while also confirming by accident once more to me, that adults who enjoy Power Rangers are fucking mental.
Huzzah! Chapter 30 is out! I hope everyone has been enjoying things so far. With the release of 30, we've got only three chapters left to go before Magisight is fully complete.
From now on, I will post a Literature Report every month. What is a Literature Report? To summarize, it is just comparing a MLP fanfic and a literature book that seems to have similarities with the fanfic. I will write like this.
