Today, as part two of my previous television review, I will be reviewing the fifth and final season of "Samurai Jack".
There has been concern in some circles about the viewership ratings for My Little Pony. According to various sources the overall viewership of the show is down from the previous year by anywhere from one hundred thousand to two hundred thousand viewers per week. This has raised some concerns for those within the fan base that, a slide in viewers may mean a slide in overall popularity of the show and that it may get its plug pulled sooner rather than later. In yet another example of a film that provides the bedrock of my cinematic life experience, Ben-Hur still stands as one of the most tremendous, grandiose and effective epics to come out of Hollywood, and also stands as a film with a remarkably moving story, and possibly the best religiously inclined film ever made.

It's another winter holiday episode before a fall episode. What is up with time in Equestria? Or perhaps airing times. The mid-season hiatus knocked a few things on, and other things off: perfect timing for the 5th anniversary, but the seasonal stuff got whacked pretty hard. Not as hard as the stinger in Friendship Games, though.

Okay, so I heard a while ago that China was going to make a live-action series based off of Inuyasha called Holy Pearl. I didn't watch it for a long time because quite frankly, I thought it was going to suck. But I sat down and actually watched it. And holy crap. It's actually...good. :o
In fact, I would say that it is BETTER than the original anime/ manga because they use South Vietnam mythology and really build up the world and character conflicts so it actually makes sense.
I found a bunch of animation companies and independent directors who put up their small animated shorts for people to view on YouTube. I thought I would share them because they are really awesome and thought provoking. The past week has been different. On Monday when I left my house for work out of nowhere a giant black wasp flew overhead and stung me in the back of the neck. My initial reaction was to essentially say, "Son of a bitch. Really?" I got a welt for a couple hours that went away. No trip to the hospital or anything like that. Just another day of me finishing out a shift before calling it a day.
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is a Batman film that finally, in many ways, focuses on the human side of Bruce Wayne, and how his dauntless pursuit for justice affects him as a human being and in his personal life, all without skimping out on some of the best Batman action sequences you'll probably ever see, and bringing a new character into the fold who is able to stand on their own as a fully realized character.
Small review today because my arm is totally janked and I just watched the episode (just now). But the next ones will be big, no worries

Burn After Reading is the Coen Brothers sarcastic and intentionally screwball riff on the notoriously straight laced genre of spy thriller. Intentionally taking the multitudes of tropes and plot points that fill the genre and playing them for pure absurdity, the film revels in it's madness and lack of logic, in a way that really, only a Coen Brothers film can.

This year has gone by quickly and I've found myself in a funk for most of it. Things like movies and what not haven't excited me. Writing has been difficult for a number of reasons. I don't consider it a block but it just became a chore to even want to open up a word file and type something. Therefore I started doing other things along the way.
