The Worst of Bad Horse
Thanks to the tireless work of RBDash471, and to me being unemployed, I'm coming out with a big book at Bronycon. It's 730 pages, with 54 stories, scripts, and poems. You've seen all these before, except for:
Shattered Kingdom is a fan made (no-profit) Turn Based Strategy RPG inspired by games like Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Mass Effect. The story is about an Equestria that fall into a bloody civil war in our take on the LR vs SE. Friendships will be torn, sides will be taken, and you the player will help decide the fate of Equestria.
I went to Bronycon this year. It was the first time I'd gone since 2016, and I went because it was the last hurrah. I went as a regular attendee this year; no panels, no working on staff, no crazy schedules or set in stone plans. I just went without really announcing it, and I figured I'd just roll with the punches. I saw new faces, old faces, had experiences familiar and foreign. Some people had a lot of time to hang out and talk, others were so busy I was lucky if I got five minutes with
Alright, as usual, BC waited til the last minute to drop the schedule but it's out finally.
So, I hear you ask, when is the amazing Ferret and her tame human going to be appearing on stage? Let me tell you!
On Friday the 11th at 2pm in the Harmony Plaza: Neighbourhood stage I'll be participating in 'And That's How Equestria Was Made!' It's a really fun mashup of storytelling games with a pony twist.
God damn it, playing second fiddle again I see...
Seriously, though, I'll make a more comprehensive BC post later. Glad I got to see a lot of you, even if it was way more briefly than I would have liked. Still, it's good to be home.

Goodness gracious, a few days can feel tremendously long when filled with new things.
I am presently sitting in the lobby of my hotel enjoying the free WiFi. I have a (thankfully direct) flight back to Oregon leaving at noon tomorrow, so I’ll need to figure out when I need to go out to catch the train to get to the airport to get on the plane to fly back to Oregon.

Highlights from BronyCon 2019: Vendor Hall Completion and Lip Sync Battle
So, as you may recall, I was on a couple panels at the always amazing Bronycon this past summer. The videos have just gone up so head below the cut to see me discuss Equestria Daily with folks and explain why Editors, Pre-Readers and Reviewers are important.
So, how was everybody's weekend? I just came back from Bronycon and I learned so much from the writing panels. I would have to say that the most useful thing I've learned are about two different approaches to the craft; the gardening approach, where you start with an idea and let it grow from there, and the structural style, where you plot out everything in advance.
So I'm going to Bronycon on Thursday. I'm going down with MidnightDancer, who's driving, FoughtDragon01, who's riding shotgun, and I'll be in the backseat with Megapone, where all sorts of things may happen.
(Probably sex things, because fuck your labels or the comfort of the people in the front seat.)
Afternoon friends! So, I knew this about a week ago, but figured might as well finally confirm it here officially. This year, for the first time ever, I will not only be getting to attend a convention (yes, my first one ever), but none other than BronyCon 2016!!! As promised, the anthology of typewritten minifics I composed during Bronycon should be going up any moment now. Should you take a look at it, you may wonder about the Incomplete tag. Well, the story inspired by the TF2 Analysis Anarchy panel is a direct continuation of one of the videos they showed at said panel. The panelists asked everyone not to release recordings before the official releases, and this feels like it's in a similar vein. I subscribe to Dr. Wolf, so rest assured, I'll know
