Well, expected but still unexpected. My current job is a contract position, and when all of this Covid stuff started, the company I'm working at did a blanket extension of all possible max end dates for another three months. That put my date at the end of the year. The contract itself is updated every three months, so original it was supposed to end at the end of September.

Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the unfortunate passing of my beloved mother from complications of getting Covid.
I badly miss her presence, hearing her voice and having conversations with her as well as hearing her laughter along with enjoying her home made cooking.
