Another weekend blog entry. I'm not sure why I wait till Sunday to actually spend time collecting my thoughts. I've spent this weekend coming up with different ideas for stories and I've got about nine just begging to be started. Now the hard part is to pick and choose which one it'll be.
Pull up a chair. Listen to some good music. It's going to be a long one, folks.
A short informal essay on the issue of drinking a little too much, moderate pain and minuscule reward, and pondering why someone would keep doing such an act. A bit of a character study; a bit of why we should trust in our feelings.

Texas is a state of pure fire in the summer, usually 100 degree heat everyday. This year isn't so bad thankfully, though I can't stop wishing for the fall. The heat doesn't necessarily bother me, as I've grown accustom to it over the years, more so than other people. However, since I started writing I've noticed I don't particularly like the heat. I think I've finally figured out why.

Today was the most productive day as far as caring for myself that I've had in awhile. I've gone from 10% energy to 50% energy. It took awhile to get to this point to where I could care for myself, but it's working out.
All of you make sure you take time for yourselves too. <3 It's important to stay in tip top shape. You can't do physical/mental/emotional labor all the time. Hopefully I'll be back to writing full stop in a couple days.

I haven't written a romance that's primarily about someone falling in love with Fluttershy. I guess it's because I'm so sold on TwiDash, which is borderline canon and doesn't need a ton of development.
But. Being in love with Fluttershy is, like, my number one fantasy. SO. Maybe I'll do one of those.
Like, soon.
So having come back to FIM I decided to start reading through all of my old material, looking through crashed stories I've rewritten 6 times and some where I just hit a dead end. I also began reading through my own blogs as well as comments from long past. It was a very...enlightening experience. I noticed a few trends in my writing which I found to be a huge flaw throughout every draft and story I've created. I only took a concept, and tried to make a strong introduction and a strong ending
This'll be a short post, it's been a pretty busy weekend for me. We found out Friday that they're going to release my mom sometime this week, but unfortunately not into a rehabilitation clinic. Apparently she can't go to any because she doesn't have insurance, so they're sending her home.
I've been pestering everyone for so long about my problems (both writing and otherwise) when I should be focusing on self-improvement. That's why I've decided to stop turning others off with my problems and focus on others, how they feel, and how I can get better for both them and myself. Thank you all for helping me realize this and for all the helpful advice you've given me over the years. I appreciate it.
