So I guess something has been bugging me for a while, having to do with double standards. Ya know, like how telling a rape joke involving a woman gets you all kinds of negative attention, but telling a “don’t drop the soap” joke (ie, a prison rape joke) not only flies fifty miles under the radar, but gets positive press and any attacks are defended against, sometimes by the same people wanting to “defend rape victims” earlier.
If you don't know who she is, she was a friend of mine who left fimfic. Albeit not close, still a friend.
If any of you are wondering the reason for this post, just look at these forum threads, which if you think I deserve to be unfollowed after reading some of my remarks go ahead and do so. I was rude, nasty and generally going against what I'm supposed to be like, kind and polite. I'm a freaking hypocrite...

Hey, long time no post! Okay, maybe not that long, but it has been a few months since I've posted anything. I don't really have an excuse for that, I just sorta... Stopped writing? The next Shadow of a Doubt chapter's been nearly done for months, though the chapter after that has been a bit difficult to plan out.
Oof.

Hello, some of you may or may not have been informed but over a month ago I posted on my blog about a potential hiatus and now it's here. Due to IRL business, all of my collaborative projects are now on hold til the issue is settled. This means the following stories are on hold until further notice.

I am NOT accepting OC submissions for my currently ongoing stories, such as Waking Nightmares and its related spinoffs. If someone else’s OC appears in the story, then it’s because they’ve done a major favor for me and have earned a cameo appearance.
And that is ALL it will be. A CAMEO. No backstory, no history, just a brief mention and description, a few lines, that’s it.
I may be not that popular but there HAS. BEEN. NO. RESPONSE to any of my new stuff that I post!

So! In fun, adult news, Fiance and I went to Ikea Sunday and got a bookcase in preparation for when I can move my adorkable, idiot furball, Smudge, in with us... We even got the bonus achievement of avoiding temptation... Because the Kitchen department is Fiance's weakness, and the Home Office is mine... And both of those sections were between the home storage department and the bedroom section... But behold! I had a map! And the map pointed out a shortcut that would avoid both
Well, Youtube copyrights struck again, this time to my Twilestia tribute set to Rod Stewart's Maggie May, which I think is absolutely beautiful song. But alas, because of the damn copyright, I had to switch out the song for a piece of classical music, (The same one I had to use from my Don't Fear the Reaper video a while back.) even when I said the song was used in a parody and I made no money off of it and gave proper credit to the artist.
