I've been back at home for about three hours now. :) Just finished writing this up, so I'm posting it. Note that I wrote up each day after it had happened, then went back and maybe added some stuff in I forgot, so the timelines might be weird. Okay? Okay, let's go.
Good evening readers! Welcome to the LTUE Report for Day One!
First things first: For the last few weeks, I’ve been keeping something secret. Something that, after the official book launch for Trace the Stars, LTUE’s first benefit anthology of short stories, I can finally talk about, since it was announced at the launch.
Come closer boys and girls for I have a story to tell... A tale of tragic loss and all that jazz...
Young LEN NARD was having an okay week. A couple people liked his story and he enjoyed reading all the comments. It was nice.
With his heart motivated, he decided to jump right in to writing, aiming to update five days after his last chapter... Only to be met with this.

I haven't gotten nearly enough writing done these past... oh, couple years or so. And that's on me. I'm not going to get into excuses, since I don't feel that I really have any valid ones. No medical problems, no dire circumstances, no my-world-is-imploding crises.
The big thing on my plate making me start this:
Figured I'd mention I've got a Pillowfort account that I post writing and occasionally drawings on. Ain't got too much up right now, but I've got more than here and I figure it'd be better to post snippets of the stories I write there than here. There are two short posts up about a griffon and a raider right now as well as a few horrid scribbles.

Despite the majority wanting me to finish all the chapters first before posting, it was taking a lot of time and I wasn’t really using all of my time as effectively as I could have been. Some readers were getting impatient (I understand, of course) and so I followed my editor’s advice and decided to just go for it.

Not a whole lot to report, other than that chapter 15 of Sunrise got another 1000 words or so, and more importantly, got finished and has been off to the pre-readers for a few days now. The editing process is now moving along, so that's good.
On to chapter 16, then? Well, yeah, when I have time to write it. That's gonna be tough to find this week - mid-terms are coming, and I'm not looking forward to them, TBH.
Yeah, I know. It's already been a month and a half since I updated. This blog post is basically just a rant on why I still haven't.
That's not all, though! At the end of this, I'll show you a little preview of Ch 7. Spoiler alert, I guess.
Okay then, let's start with my previous blog post. As you all know, I lost the chapter because I forgot to save while the internet is wonky. Only four hundred words were left and I just don't feel like writing after that.
For the ones who know about it, what would be the procedure when it is about giving reports after events such as the one in Metroid Prime 3? Will Dane have to give it personally to the Chairman of the Federation (which is the supreme leader)? Or will he have to go to some Military Minister or whatever? Unless he sends it by messenger, or by computer? I have no idea of how this happens.
I was thinking to myself, "Why the heck did they use slaves in the old times? Why didn't they just use a harvester or some other machine?"
And then I remembered.
Another year, another Bronycon! I've been going since at least 2013, which makes 6 Bronycons for me.
6 Bronycons. Man. Has it been that long? What have I accomplished in 6 years?
Other than writing pony stories and blog posts, not much. There's a point during every convention where I begin to wonder: What am I doing here? Shouldn't I be strangling my soul slowly with a 9-5 job to support a couple of kids?
That's right, I'm actually doing one of these. This month: February. The month that for no good reason has only 28 days.

Shotgun Wedding is a new story I started as a result of the RariJack forum prompt game. It is supposed to be a game where everyone writes a short bit of microfiction (100-500 words) based on a single word prompt... and I may have let things get a little out of hand and wrote something nearly three times longer than it was supposed to
Well folks... three days after releasing probably the riskiest thing I've ever written (and that IS saying a lot), it's time to start in on the next chapter. A thousand-word outline is already written, and I'm going to start fleshing it out today. Needless to say, more surprises are planned, a lot of things have to be addressed, and I'd like to reiterate again that I am not planning on any sort of bad ending or breakup here. No new chapter today, sad to say. Next week is looking more likely by far.
Getting off the wellbutrin is proving rough on my mood. Anxiety is up, depression is worse. Better than getting liver damage, but it still sucks.
Still writing, and I’m two chapters in on mission seven. I’m really hoping you all enjoy this one.
Got in late last night, jetlagged but I think ready to return. Las Vegas is fun, but a bit surreal.
I made one last effort at playing yesterday before it was time to return the rental car and get to the airport. After winning $50 on a craps table, I went to the Venetian and sat down with $200 at a $2/$5 no-limit cash game. This was my final play, and win or lose would ensure that I would leave with at least $1500.
