I think my writing has reached an impasse. I am having difficulty with several aspects of the writing process. Planning is easy enough, I can write an entire outline in my head in seconds. Troubled Griffs was originally written for the basic contest I hosted in Quills and Sofas, with the prompt "Just breathe, we'll be okay". Years ago I read a story on this site by an author I don't remember that has long since been removed. It left an everlasting impression on me. It was a story that I wanted to re-tell in my own words.

It was more of a clopfic but the longer I spent trying to recall all that it entailed the more I saw potential for something bigger. It was most likely removed for containing underaged humans in sexual situations and that simple fact gave me pause.
