So, I finished watching Shadow Play a few days ago, and yes, I know I've been horribly behind. Anyway, I though I'd share my thoughts on the season as a whole and each episode, and point out my favorites and least favorites and all that stuff.
The Decline
So the other day I went bowling with the Fam, and while there, I learned quite a lot about each of my family members.
My mom is really kick ass at bowling, but only for one game. Anything after that you'd think she's drunk/never been bowling.
My step-dad has a lot of beginners luck. As in it was his first time bowling and almost every shot he made, he would get a strike.
And I suck. End of story.
Yes, I found it in English.
Yes, I watched it.
And now my review. It should go without saying but:
In my endless quest to avoid finishing any of my stories, I have edited together a 40 minute video of DWK's Totally Legit Recap that covers the entirety of Season 6. Given that he has (likely) decided to stop making these videos, I felt that maybe it would be nice to just have a "Best Of" video that showcases why he quickly gained some notoriety in the first place. Anyway, be forewarned, I did censor some of the "badder" words, partially for comedic effect and also so that it can be shared

Now, without further a-road-goes-ever-on-and-on-do, here is my review of “To Where and Back Again”.

Well. Fuck yaks, first of all.
I will give the episode this. It added infinitely to the reservoir of freaky Pinkie faces, and that's never a bad thing. Also, return of Cherry Jubilee, which ain't bad. No Cheese Sandwich, though; I thought I saw mention of him being in this one.
And Beatles reference. Friend of mine would appreciate that one.

Well, Happy One hundred and 1 Episodes of the series,Today we got a New Princess (and it not Twilight). Hey all. So, for babscon, we didn't get to answer NEARLY as many questions as we wanted to, due to time and content restraints. SO, we're making up for it today. We'll be having a podcast at 6PM PST, where we talk about babscon, answer the leftover questions, and be all friendly and stuff. Holy shiznit, that was a wild weekend.
So, let me preface this by saying that I had never been to Bronycon before. I've been to a lot of other cons, but this was a brand new experience for me. Thousands of people, meeting online friends for this first time, getting in a moshpit at bronypalooza... this was an unforgettable experience.

So for a little while now, the discourse on the Eyeball comments page has shifted into a critical discussion of Shimsham v. Glimglam (Dawn of Friendship), with opinions being split over whether Glimmy is a dime store knock-off of Shimmy who isn't fit to hold her merkin, if there's nothing wrong with her and she's Just Alright With Me, or if she's a decent character who's been poorly handled, and is also Just Alright With Me. Personally, I fall into the latter camp, but whatever.
