It is... race week!
Above the clouds it was bright and silent,
And the sun brought hope, love and guidance,
Fast she flew, and determined she was,
To win the race, to earn the applause,
The colours of the rainbow shot right across the sky,
Whooshing and whirling as the clouds did pass by,
With a deep dip of the wings, the blue pony flew,
Fast a furious as the rain did brew
Yet despite the downfall, the wet and the cold,
Rainbowdash did achieve the untold,
Oh boy.
Yep, this post had to come at some point or another. Given the charged climate of “PC” these days (that’s “political correctness,” not “Personal Computer,” sadly) days, this topic is one that’s come up again and again in writing. Online, offline … just about everywhere.
When I bought the Digital Storm Vanquish 3 in May of 2015, it absolutely blew me out of the water. I swore I'd be a repeat customer.
But since doing some lite upgrading (RAM, fans, adding a capture card), becoming more confident in my technical abilities, and watching some how-to videos from YouTube techies, I'm feeling the lure of building my own rig from scratch and truly making it my own.
Hello, you fine folks. I've come out of hiding to let you know the most magical day of the year has arrived once again. On this date, twenty-five years and a few dozen months ago, I first graced the world with my presence. Now, we all know most people are selfish bastards who only think about themselves on such occasions—and who can honestly blame them for being excited about a day when people give them free stuff for simply existing?—but if I want to rule the world one day, I need to suck up
So blogs are a thing here. I doubt this will be a regular thing but I've been thinking about this thing for a while and figured I should put it somewhere, in case someone else wanted to think about it too.
The title is pretty much self explanatory. I finished the second longest chapter in TER, and I only have 2 more left!
Chapter 5 is my best work. It's a thriller and very unexpected, and I know for sure you will love it! Now only 2 more chapters to finish, and I will publish the story! It might come with a name change, not exactly sure. The description might be tweaked too - but we will see.
Until then.
Maybe I'll actually buckle down and get some writing done...
Maybe. Perhaps.
ITS OVER, HE DID IT, THE SON OF A BITCH DID IT

I recently have been jumping into racing games more and more. Usually they're not my cuppa tea, but these last few have just been a pretty fun distraction. I like testing my times or coming in place at the last second possible! It's all really fun, and fun is something we all should have a little more of!
At least it allows us to just forget the yikes stuff for a moment right?
Also just cause I like racing...
Doesn't mean I'm good at it.
So I found out that Pinkie was supposed to have wings, and Fluttershy was going to be a earth pony in the beginning, but they changed it last moment. So I have to wonder, if Pinkie pie has wings, who would win in a race. Pinkie or Rainbow?
havent even watched the finale yet but this little drone is quite pleased
Need to write, but don't want to "write" right now. That and I need to practice actually writing and thinking about saying stuff. So after finally getting some frustration that's been building on my chest within the last week off exploded out, I want to move on. So as a minor exercise, I can still write something I'm passionate about though. Namely electronics and computer builds. If you don't like seeing someone's passionate ramblings about this, you can skip it. If you're still
Disney historically has done very poorly upon portraying race. From the racist crows (A reference to Jim Crow) in Dumbo to the whitewashed sanitized Pocahontas that neglected the part with the rape, genocide, and deadly diseases, Disney has many more examples of racial insensitivity to say the least. It's surprising then that they've produced Zootopia, a film that tackles race relations with touching nuance and sensitivity as to be relatable to children and adults. If you haven't, go see it.
Seriously.
I want to put him in a scene, but I don't know what race. Is he some green-skinned Awoken? Or some blonde and blue-eyed (with stubble, of course) human? Or a highly polished Exo underneath his armor?
Anyone got an idea?
I call that the story will be out in 2 days. I need to fix some errors and I need to write the final chapter. It's going great, and I think it will make you shed a tear. I don't exactly know how much words I have, maybe about 22K now? The number keeps glitching.
Until then. :)
I've recently had the delight of becoming friends with applejackofalltrades, a writer and artist who has done several pieces of WWB art (including two pieces for the upcoming Breaking the Ice, one of which is the cover). He's new to Fimfiction, only having been here a few months, and has just released his fourth story, Off to the Races, which I proofread.
Chapter 22 posted in The Runaway Bodyguard. Starlight runs in the Celestial Race. Always trying to keep a low profile, she is relieved that she’s racing against earth ponies and pegasi with no chance to win. Next: Will Starlight (neé Aurora
Remember that time, back in 2015, when I decided to give other people gifts on my birthday? Good times, right? Right. Many games were given away, and I’m sure many hours of enjoyment were had by all who received them. If I’m wrong, don’t spoil my delusion. Just nod dumbly and keep reading.
So one day, I got to thinking, "what was the name of the races from those guys in Kluge town." I mean, I already know fishman, but what about the rest?
So I ended up finding some tabletop game books call Tales of Equestria, and bought them. And you know what I found? The name of the race of the parrot people: Parrot. And the name of the race of the cat guy: Cat.
