So, two things!

One, the fifth, and final chapter, of Memories of Midnight has been written. I hope it weighs up to all your expectations, as it was an experience to write.

There will be one more 'chapter' after this, but it'll be more like an epilogue rather than an actual chapter, and will take place -after- part 3 of PtH. As such I am going to put the story into Hiatus mode after I post Chapter 5, and wait for Calm's story to progress a bit more.

Chapter 12, the last one I posted, took a while mainly because my motivation for working on this story dropped too far. Chapter 13, however, has been taking so long because of indecision more than procrastination. Essentially, I don't know how I want the story to continue from here.

She starts the story with PTSD thanks to epic life and death battles, and hints at how she was a gangland bodyguard, the best of the best, until her patron became too stupid to live. The TV series depicts her as an unusually competent fighter, and magically stronger than Twilight Sparkle.

Well as I posted in one of the recent chapters of The Blue Mage, I've recovered enough use in my left hand to type normally. Though with how much the muscles atrophied, I'm still a little clumsy when typing and my hand tires easily. So I can get more prereads completed and get another editing pass in. Sorry to make you wait, folks. But trust me—it’ll be worth it. Chapter will now launch on Thursday evening after I’m back from work.

I wrote a chapter for Wooing while sleep deprived. It was not a good outcome. I almost had Sunshine (Twilight) 'power up' into Midnight Sparkle v2.0, which was going to be similar to how Sunset's second transformation was less demonic and more angelic. The writing was horrible, did not quite match the tone of the previous chapter, and honestly was rubbish. It has since been burned, dissolved, and boiled away.
