God Damn It!!! · 10:40pm Jul 23rd, 2016
Fuck me...
Next time you are hired to write a story, please do so, rather than taking the opening credits of My Little Pony: The Movie and making them last three quarters of an hour, and then bolting the Power Ponies onto the end. Additionally, it is worth noting that 'a young lady turns into a demon' is no longer an effective plot twist for an Equestria Girls film.
I would like to start by ordering the movies from my most favorite to my least favorite along with a list of adjectives that I would use to describe each movie.
1. The Friendship Games: fun, exciting, relatable, inspiring
2. Equestria Girls: inspiring, delightful, funny, cute
3. Rainbow Rocks: exciting, unsettling, epic, triumphant
4. The Legend of Everfree: disturbing and depressing
Yeah! Thank you trailer for forcing yourself into my continuity!
So if nobody has seen the trailer yet here it is.
WWWWWWHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *really loud sad diamond dog noises*
Dear God...
If you're there...
Please don't let there be a love triangle in Legends of Everfree.
I don't want to spend my money on a "Team Timber Spruce" T-shirt.
Spoilers Ahead
Equestria Legends of Everfree , in English is the fourth in Equestria Girls and wrote by Kristine Song and Joanna Lewis. It starts the usual voice actors from the previous film, so no need to get into that. I will say I was expecting a Gravity Falls rip off, but it wasn’t thankfully. It was, well, let’s just get into it.
WARNING: LEGEND OF EVERFREE SPOILERS AHEAD!
I have now had a nap, and feel considerably more sane. Apologies for the sleepy rambling from the previous post.
Anyways, I don't plan on reading through the mess that was that last blog post, and you probably shouldn't either. So in case I didn't already promote it, I wrote a new story!
Okay, so I think I've got a pretty good comparison for what I feel about the ship.
Timber Spruce: He's like peanut butter, a food that goes with a lot of other foods. One that tastes pretty good on many foodstuffs... maybe don't think too hard about my similes.
So... EQG 4 was pretty cool. Still, once again, did not beat Rainbow Rocks. There was also Flash's clone, Timber and shit. I really like Gloriosa's design while she was Gaia and I enjoyed the fact there was Filthy Rich! I am sad that there was not much Sunlight action in this one as the others...
I promised to make a blog about the upcoming Legends of Everfree movie and how the media we have now influences it.
Spoilers below the break, be warned.
.... But I fear I dragged it out too long, and now it sounds rushed and random. *Sigh* So much for making a new fic inspired by the Legend of Everfree movie. Guess I'll scrap it and move on.
I really like it btw ^^
* Well, I guess this is why groups are made. I'll see if someone there can help me tweak it up a bit. Here's hopin'!
Yes, I found it in English.
Yes, I watched it.
And now my review. It should go without saying but:
So I just watched Legends of Everfree, I loved it. Rainbow Rocks is still probably my favorite, but this is definitely a close second. Let me know what you thought in the comments.
Did anyone else notice that Twilight's ringtone is bloody tears from Castlevania ?
Oh, and I might as well sneak an update in while I'm at it. The new chapter is nearly finished. I've got the rough draft all written out, and now all it needs is a few tweaks, and a pass through editing.
Hey everyone! I am really happy to say this but then it's going to sound like I'm desperate... but don't mind that part now! We need new members in our group: The Legend of Everfree Fan Group. Once you've joined and we've reached about 75 or so members, then CONGRATULATIONS! We're planning to create a collab story, so, you're welcome to add in your ideas as our newest members. Now, please take your time in deciding to join or not because we're not really forcing you. And wow, I am horrible at
How funny that a couple of months after I return from a summer long sleepaway camp in the woods on the mountains, my little pony comes out with their latest movie based on a camp.
I just finished watching Legend of Everfree. Maybe this is partially the accompanying cider talking, but I'm pleased overall, despite some gaping plot holes and continued hand-waving about how Equestrian magic is supposed to work in the other world.
Basically it's like this
Who can guess what Sunset is?
You get three guesses and if you get it right you get an imaginary cookie. LOL. I wish I could download cookies like that. I'd be fat as heck. I love mint cookies. But seriously what is Sunset doing?
