I debated long and hard about which story to write about this weekend. It finally came down to a pair of my all time favorites and the deciding choice between them was that one of them features both my favorite pony, Princess Luna, and a bucket load of archaic language not only used, but used well.
Here are my results:

Grammar - 57/58 (99/100 points)
Reading - 14/15 (28/30 points)
Listening - 18/20 (36/40 points)
TOTAL = 119/123 (193/200 points)
I pat myself on the back for a job well done.
Last night, we had a mock test in preparation for the real thing. There were a total of 90 points and I got a score of 87. I made 2 mistakes on grammar, 1 mistake on reading, and achieved a perfect score on both vocabulary and listening. I'm reviewing everything that I've learned and I hope that I'll do well.

My first blog post on FiMfiction was about how Amphicoelias had started an Esperanto translation of The Library of Discord.
I'm pleased to announce that he finished that translation!

Not a bad score, if I do say so myself. The passing score to proceed to the next level is 120 and above. I computed the average score (40% of midterm exam score + 60% of final exam score) and I got 187.6, which means I'm eligible to enroll in basic level 3. Yay!!! 
It used to be every Saturday in a classroom for 3 hours, but because of the pandemic, classes were temporarily suspended. Now, they take place in Zoom on weekdays for 40 minutes.
I may have to put my online job journey on hold as there's going to be homework after every session. It will take a while for me to finish them using the Japanese keyboard I installed in my laptop.

Learned something interesting in class today, and I might want to share it with you. Well, that is, if it wasn't so controversial. Of course, me being me, I'm going to show you it anyway. Why not?
As a matter of fact ponies in Equestria speak English in the show. So let them speak more improved and interesting English than people on Earth.
For example, they may have two more future tenses: distant future and improbable future. The distant future is used to describe something that a speaker doesn’t expect to see alive. Example: The sun wess stop someday. The improbable future is used when a speaker doesn’t expect something to happen at all. Example: Celestia weast be sent to sun.
This one is shorter than the prior few entries and, as such, has had a lighter 2022 editing touch. It's also largely already contained in the extended cut on my previous post on biplane pegasi posted here.
Welcome back to another Classic Being a Better Writer post! Really quickly, a quick update for Patreon Supporters: Still playing catch up for last month, but look for something (hopefully) this weekend. That's all.
I mentioned in my author's note for Rakadi & Ahe'eyo: The Language Barrier that I created two entire languages for use exclusively in my story. I figured I'd put out there exactly how the two languages function (or, at least, how the bits of it function that were relevant to the story).
How do you show that a character is angry? Or nervous? How do you show that two characters are not on the best of terms with one another while they are on decent standing with another member of their group? Or that one of them is nervous? Jumpy?
...for skipping over most of the process of language learning and translation that would have been necessary to get communication going. (Bad SF author, no cookie for you.)
