Collab project with Dr. Wolf!
Well, you did it, Hasbro. You really did it this time.
Beloved Readers, I have a rule.
I didn't quite realize it until a few weeks ago, but I've been writing by this rule since I seriously picked up writing as a craft somewhere in the neighborhood of 2004. A rule first introduced to me by The Last Unicorn and later fully codified by Princess Mononoke for all characters, but especially for all villains and antagonists. A simple rule by design, if not always in practice.
Reader, I do not write monsters.
Okay, so my lowest ever rated story Do Not Rape Your Students was revoked by the moderators about 24 hours after it was initially published, six months ago. I've now made some changes, and it's been accepted. Given the topics it covers, I don't expect it to be any more popular than it was before, but that's life.
... and I apparently wrote 33k words worth of an Equestria Girls story. I also happen to have an outline, and I covered, like, two thirds of it.
Totally random excerpt:
Silver Spoon sighed, looking at Diamond Tiara and then at the road behind them. “I’ve made a mistake,” she muttered.
“Not the first and not the last.” Diamond Tiara turned sharply, almost hitting an empty fruit stand.
“No, I mean, I shouldn’t have licked my fingers after–” Silver Spoon looked at her hand.
I don't know why I'm blogging so much today. It's like I have to hit a monthly quota before the end of May.
So anyway, I have three stories about Diamond Tiara in the works. They are:
half asleep but must… promote… new… story.
clop story. if you don't like clop, don't read it.
father's day thing. diamond tiara and filthy rich.
goodnight
Lexi smirked as she held up her hands. "This is gonna be so awesome!"
"Y-yeah…" Silver Spoon said as she hesitantly took her Blake weapon out.
Blake took notice of this and walked over to Silver Spoon. "What's wrong?"
"W-well…" Silver Spoon stammered. "Last time I had this thing out, I accidentally shot a window and shattered it…"
"You… don't know how to use it?" Blake asked before looking at the rest of us. "Do… any of you know how to use our weapons that you got?"
Always watching.
Hello all,
After a little work and a lot of external help (thanks Malefactory) , Arête - Princess Alicorn of Hackers is finally complete as it was intended to be (and had vast amounts of mistakes removed)
TELL HER WHAT YOU THINK AND BE SURE TO GIVE HER YOUR SUPPORT!!
Ironically, in later chapters, I DEAL with the elements that were jossed in this fanfic, and actually make it PART OF THE PLOT, I'd say more, but that's spoilers (and trust me, it turns out for the better).
In a fit of inspiration, I have written a 1,500 word story tenatively titled Thanks, Mother which is more or less a reaction fic to the last episode, detailing Diamond Tiara's conversation with her mother, Spoiled Rich, after everything is said and done. I'm looking to get it edited and posted quite quickly, so if anyone is still awake who would be willing to look over a 1,500 word story about Diamond Tiara being Diamond Tiara, I'd appreciate it.
And as usually, it took a contest to make it happen...
Yeah, yeah, I should know the name of the episode I just saw, but that's how I roll. So I'm gonna talk about the parts that I especially loved. So you know, spoilers and all.
I Will Be Your Villainess is probably going to be my most experimental story I've ever done. What began as just a fun little writing flit to honor a story I really like suddenly became an avenue to create something more out of it. Something I've never really done before.
An extended universe!
Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! All of my yes! Easily, bar none, the best episode in the entire series! I can't recall the last time I've shed this many tears throughout an entire episode. I mean...where do I begin? Diamond Tiara actually confirming my thoughts that she's not a bad girl and it's just her upbringing...Silver Spoon showing morals even before Diamond Tiara did...Applejack's parents confirmed to be dead...the Cutie Mark Crusaders getting their cutie marks at long last and in an
