Does anyone else get reminded of The Conversion Bureau by this?
Does anyone else get reminded of The Conversion Bureau by this?
So, the story is a go, first off; I’ve started on the first few chapters. The other news is that some incredible things happened with my gaming group while I was running the session today:
SO! In the great tradition of Calm Wind, I have decided that I'm going to post blogs promoting new stories added to the Expanded Wonderverse, much as Calm promotes stories written in the Wonderverse.
this introduction is also on my account page because I still need to figure shit out haaa-
(7/10/15)
This is the user account of Randa, your humble and rather awkward teen whose hobbies including writing, singing, acting, critiquing and analyzing fictional works, and finding ways to overthrow the patriarchy and heteronormativity from within.
Whelp, here's the introduction to my upcoming story, Three Weeks. Enter Arc, the final organized human refuge as the Equestrian Barrier closes in. Follow various members of the Zero Point Volunteer Corps as they live with, learn from and comfort the last remaining humans.
Here's part of the introduction, and the premise with which I'm starting off.
Got it up yesterday, y'all can go check it out. I'll let you guys know when the next one's coming. I still haven't edited chapters 12 and 13 so I'll be doing that once I get this story up-to-date on the PFA.
Taking a break from writing a random silly idea to write up a much shorter random silly idea.

Something I'm wondering about. Would like to hear some other people's opinion on it.
There are two stories. Both these stories have a scene where two characters are talking. However, in one story, the scene is considered entertaining, but in the other, it is boring.
Rocks Ain't Known For Conversation by King Moriarty is by far my favourite Hearthbreakers fic. Yes, it is on the MarbleMac ship, but it's honestly thought out, with detailed, fitting characterization. I love, love, love it!
No, I have no idea why I'm doing this.
Hey, been a while, right?
Well, now that this journal is out, I figure I should speak my own truth.
I’m not really sure how to begin this one out, but I guess the first thing to do is to rip off the band aid.
I’m going to be completely honest and admit that I just can’t do this anymore.
Chapter 14 is finally up...and yes, it's late.
The war is finally over. We ponies have lost. Our plan to convert humanity into ponies has failed. Hundreds of thousands are dead. Homes destroyed. Our nation is shattered and near annihilation. All because we underestimated humanity and their refusal to become like us.
And you start considering the legal implications of Consent to Ponification in the TCB-verse for minors.

I've made it abundantly clear that writing dialogue scenes is what's most difficult for me. But the truth is I hate conversations in general.
Only I don't think that's entirely true, because I'm only coming to this realization tonight.
So I am now working on at least eight stories now, five of them at the same time, with almost fourteen more story plot ideas on the back burner, yet I'm only doing four or five paragraphs for one story in one sitting, which can be anywhere on an every other day, weekly, or even a biweekly basis.

Both stories are about some variant of Celestia trying to turn humans into ponies, though depending on interpretation CelestAI is somewhat less malicious about it due to being basically programmed that way. I'd get the feeling that CelestAI would read the NewFoals as being … warped enough to be no longer humans, and an active force taking her "subjects" away from her. So Horse Skynet vs Magic Horse invasion or something.
Good guy CelestAI? Maybe?
It's almost finished; I just have to clean some things up and complete some dialogue. I'm going to be traveling a lot in the next few days, so the chapter won't be up until...let's say July 25th. If there is any further delay, I'll let you guys know.
On a rainy night when the world has turned into black and white, a card game was going on a particular street in Ponyville. Inside a cafe where all the lights except for one that shines down on a table. Discord looked up from his hand at the stallion across from him. This said stallion held up his cards like a shield, scanning through his glasses.
"So I've heard your latest little dare turned out well."
