For those who don't know, recently a little four year old child fell into a gorilla exhibit at a zoo in someplace and the zoo officials had to shoot the giant ape down fearing the ape was going to harm the young child after dragging it around a bunch of times.

Why?
Honestly, I was going to hold off on a second post this week until Thursday (I’m blitzing through edits on Jungle right now) but this post had already been on my mind, and then a discussion yesterday online regarding MacMillan’s continued crusade against libraries basically poured gasoline over the spark and, well … Here we are.
I feel bad for all those Kaleidoscope writers. I really do. Those people and the stories they put so much time and effort into creating deserve so much better than getting downvote-spammed. Hell, some of my most hated ponyfics of all time have better like-to-dislike ratios than that.
Hello readers! I’m going to start this post with a bit of a disclaimer. Two, actually.
The creator of Gravity Falls and the voice of Bill Cipher and Grunkle Stan from the same show and King and Hooty from The Owl House is known for his outspokenness on social media. I woke up today to the news that WWE has severed their ties to Hulk Hogan over a scandal that was about to break. After considering it for a while, I decided I wanted to chime in on the topic and discuss Hogan, racism, and why this whole thing is a pile of crap.

Wow. It’s been weeks since we’ve seen a post like this one on the site, hasn’t it? But hey, Starforge‘s draft is now complete, so we can see stuff like this again. My mind feels free.
You know, now that I’ve reached this point I almost don’t know what to say.
Hey folks. Max here taking a time-out from the Starforge editing (which is coming along pretty nicely and will soon have some updates) with a small OP-ED post.
So I learned something rather embarrassing a week ago.

I usually don't write blogs but...
Isn't the whole point of fanfiction supposed to be to unleash your imagination? Is it so wrong that we write several series that are usually family friendly into more, teen and/or mature setting, because that is how we envision it, even if some may not agree?
I haven't been able to write (or do) hardly anything in months, even though I'm off during the Summer and stuck inside. At first I thought it was mental illness, but much of it's still physical, and I don't quite know where the separation twixt the two lies.
Also, the brony world appears to have descended into chaos.
