Back in 2015, I began to write a First Person Chrysalis story where she gives birth to a Changeling filly, but her drones died giving her and the foal their last bit of love, so she would journey across Equestria to give her foal to Fluttershy, to make sure the changelings survive. It was called "With This Last Breath, I Give To You" and it was going to be an Adventure/Tragedy one-shot.

Thank god the Season 9 premiere finally jossed that theory for good, because it was actually getting annoying in my personal opinion.

The ending to Chapter 3 had me like:

Seriously, why does my brain go there? WHY CAN'T I JUST HAVE A HAPPY ENDING.

Is it pathetic to cry at my own story? I cried yes. :c

Chapter 2 is up and it contains one of the primary scenes I constructed this story idea around. So far, I'm really liking how this is coming together and feel way more confident going forward from here. Enjoy.
