Review: Of Gods and Goats · 3:10am Feb 4th, 2017
Of Gods and Goats. A novella that one of my best friends wrote and published. I had been waiting a year to read a copy of it. So when it came out I knew that I had to order a copy and read it.

I've made another post for patrons only on my Patron.
I'm going to try and post things there more often. I know I don't have a lot to offer. But, I will say, that I will soon be releasing the new art version of Daring Do and the Griffon's Goblet in hardback book, and patrons will get discounts and first dibs before they hit my general store.
This is the first story announcement of the year! Woo Hoo! Anyways I'm working on yet another anthology series! To be more specific, it is the official SEQUEL to my anthology series "Hearts and Hooves Day". The first one was such a hit, I decided to up the stakes a bit for these one shots. Instead of 4 like the first one, this one will have 6 non/semi-canon one shots. I won't say which stories will be getting the treatment yet, thought I do have a release date:
So I'm trying something new today here at Unusual Things. I've had the idea for a post series like this in the back of my head for a while now, and while it's not going to be a regular series like Being a Better Writer is, I do hope it might be an occasional counterpart.
EDIT: This book is temporarily out of print because Lulu introduced new options which will allow me to sell the color version at a reasonable price. As a result, I decided to pull it until I have time to make a few fixes and put it back out at a drastically reduced price. If you're interested in buying this book, leave a comment and I'll know to get my ass in gear and do the things I need to do!
Aside from the Twilight books, obviously...
So I'm on a discord server that's an offshoot of the main fimfiction discord, ran by the amazing and mysterious Second Prances. On there I regularly post story recommendations, at least one every 2 or 3 days, spanning any and all genres, just whatever sparks my interest at the time. Would anybody that still follows me like to have those recommendations? We could even do a kind of Book Club in the comments and talk about the
It took way too long, but I received the proof copy of the paperback version of Quantum Gallop today, and it looks fantastic! Big too! 550 pages big.
The front cover is shown below, but if you wish to see the whole wraparound cover without any text, go to DeviantArt to see it. The art was commissioned from AphexAngel.
So before on this site, I’ve spoken about how studies have found that the most effective way to get people to check out a book (and buy it) is not reviews from websites (though those are some of the most effective, hence why so many sell reviews), and not advertising on web-pages and other places, but word of mouth.
I am starting a new story and it's called The Lost One the first chapter is probably rushed and is too small to post just yet but still IM MAKING A STORY my SECOND STORY.

The Redwall series by Brian Jacques
105.4K words, and the second draft of "Learning To Fly" is complete! The next steps are some mix of taking a break from it for a few days, and fixing up the proposed new opening (which will make this even longer), and doing a spellcheck (done!). After those, I need to do a proper edit because this is 2/3 new material and bits of it are probably stupid. Would anyone like to beta-read?
If you are at Anthrocon and you wanted to get a copy of Cosmic Lotus, I have three left as of 12:43pm Saturday. I also have a very few of my other novels too.
