And here’s another character that reminds me that I probably should get back to Hearth’s Warming is Merry in Our Town—especially since it’s November, and the next thing I know, it’ll be December! Wow, time sure does fly, doesn’t it?
Geez, these Birthday Bios steal time from the incomplete fics that are not Brotherly Bonding Time, huh?
The final member of the quartet that makes up the Sandwich Bros’ grandparents! I wonder why nobody has called me out for going into crazy territory for my headcanons, like having Cheese Sandwich’s grandma hailing from the Canterlot elite?
I’m happy that my most recent chapter of Brotherly Bonding Time was written before this particular bio, because this one contains a major spoiler. I managed to avoid it with Crème Brulee’s, but I can’t really avoid it here.
You suppose he could get along with the Pie Sisters? They could talk rocks.
Heh, I made Blackie here share a birthday with my sister (Artsy Notes). Yes, I did that on purpose, because I’m certain that he’d be a favorite of hers if she knew more of his character (heck, when I showed her the design, she really liked it).
Now, onward to the story of the grouchy miner!
Whew! Am I glad that the insanity of August is all over, and I can get back into a sane schedule.
And thus, I go on to a new Birthday Bio, one for Bell Pepper’s best friend and partner in the force, Saltworth. To be honest, I only named him that to make a stupid “salt and pepper” joke. Even so, I assure you that this stallion is worth his salt (hurr hurr).
Let’s dive in!
Happy Independence Day, fellow Americans! And for anyone who lives outside of the USA, I hope you have a nice day, too.
Y’know, drawing my concept of Fleetfoot and Night Glider’s father reminds me that it’s their turn for Sugar Belle in Hearth’s Warming is Merry in Our Town. I oughta get back to that story sometime, though I worry it might take getting into the Christmas spirit… when it’s not December.
Boy, if I ever get around to this story, I'm going to have to be careful. I hear alicorn OCs are tricky to pull off.
Not to mention even though my first aim in a story is usually humor, I always end up wanting to look at the more serious side of things. I'm going to have to come up with a bit more material than "how the heck did Applejack have an alicorn kid" to make it work.
In real life, the word “jamboree” popped up sometime in the mid-nineteenth century, and was apparently US slang. At least that’s what I got from a quick Google search.
Fun Fact: ‘Flower Power’ was a name I considered when first creating Flora Peace.
Flora’s grandmother doesn’t care how old she is—you cross her, she’ll kick your butt seven ways to Sunday. They say that rainbow-haired ponies have a certain fire about them that makes them pretty formidable.
Let’s see what went on in the life of this firecracker.
You may have noticed a minor redesign. Thought I'd give her some streaks in her hair for a mild resemblance to her mother.
When writing The Rock Farmer's Daughters, I didn't initially plan for this character to pop up. But then Igneous mentioned his sister in a chapter, and I decided, "Imma make that sister." And she was a well-received character, both on this site and FanFiction.net.
Now, let's get to Seddie's history!
This lovely grandmother has been helping her daughter Violet Verses raise Bluejinx from the time he was five. Being his primary caretaker while his mother worked, Navy was always fascinating him with her tales of adventures she had on the high seas.
How do ponies even play basketball? I've seen a couple of basketball cutie marks, so it has to exist in Equestria...
Anyway, let's get on with our precious Peanut here...
Okay, no, it's not my birthday (mine's in August). It's actually the birthday I designated for one of my OCs.
Because Bluejinx seemed like he had a January birthday.
I like giving my OCs birthdays...
Let me present to you the douchebag of 2016! It’s almost March and he’s already taken that title quicker than Cortland did during 2014 and Kazam did during 2015.
Hey, guys! I’ve returned from Southern Utah, and I’m going to prepare a nice little journal telling you all about it. In the meantime, I managed to finish this thing for our next Birthday Girl: Bell Pepper!
Does anyone else find it funny that the Bio after the outlaw’s is that of a cop?
Anyway, more on Bell here after the break.
