God, I've been slammed at work. I wish I could pump out stories faster. In the case of Junior Flight Camp, I've had trouble working on it for two reasons, exhaustion from work and writer's block. After a very, very annoying writers block, I have busted out of the shell of stagnation and have come back with vigor unbeknownst to mankind. That is, if nothing gets screwed in my day to day life. Which, since I am very inactive in society, is unlikely to happen, so yeah.

Back to writing about a mercenary who doesn't understand the word "Polite".

So one of my favorite youtubers made a video talking about how to go about getting ideas for stories. I watched it ages ago but thought it might be a really great video to share out in case anyone here has ever struggled with writers block or just having a hard time looking for inspiration.

Yeahhh, that Shining Interlude kind of spawned into something more monstrous than I intended. I'm at 8k words at the moment and am still adding more. I'll go into more detail as an author's note with the chapter (whenever it's done) but my main issue is that I forgot that I'm dealing with a younger Shining and he shouldn't be a Captain yet. I have an interesting case of writers block. Sometimes I write a story and I get some good chapters in.. but I don't know how to continue the story.

I haven't worked on my stories in a while. I just haven't had the inspiration to get back in. I don't know if it's my location (I usually have a single place where my words seem to flow), my mood or what. I have a lot of ideas mapped out in my head but just can't get them typed out. I've already had to cancel one of my stories, which I hate doing. That does leave one story to do and two new ideas to write if anyone is interested in hearing what they're about. So, this is the situation with Chapter 5.

The whole thing is pretty much drafted, save for a couple of sections which have their ends completed in bullet points. I know the tone and goals of the chapter, and I'm pretty much set to get it done. Shouldn't take long to complete, right?
