What is the world does fimfiction count as a word? I finished writing Chapter 24.33 in Libre Office, which gave the word count as ~6600 words. Then I uploaded the chapter here, and suddenly it's getting counted as over 7300 words. I'm just... so confused

I supposed, that is to avoid an awkward situation, in which the person shows up after, like, 14 years wondering just what you've been doing with their name all these years.

They typically aren't pleased to find out what you've been up to.

All I can say in my defense is,

Luckily they already have a new name, so they weren't too upset, just annoyed.

Man. The story took a massive turn only four chapters in.

So, my friend kept saying the word "Updog" and it annoyed me, so I asked, "What is updog?" she actually started laughing, I asked her again, and she laughed even harder. I seriously didn't get it... at all. So, I asked why it was funny, but didn't get an answer. Seriously guys...
