Well, this was supposed to come out, like, last week, but we finally have the cut Laurence PoV part added to Chapter 14! It's not plot-essential, but adds a little more character perspective and details to the conclusion. There were also some very minor changes to the next Amber PoV part, because I goofed on the chronology of events by a day, and to mesh better with the added part...

So, at the end of Chapter 25 I said, optimistically, that we could get back to regular posting... And that was a little over a month ago. One reason for this distinct lack of a Chapter 26 is that life always finds new ways to throw things at me when I manage to get back on my feet, but the other, more prevalent and positive reason is that I'm currently reviewing and editing past chapters.

I've finally finished rewriting chapter 5, as the title states. This one gave me a little bit of trouble, though only because the farm scene got a little slow.
Chapter 36 is officially done as of this moment, but I might wait a bit longer to drop it so I can get started on a backlog. That said, eh. Just lemme know.

So I was going through my day when suddenly I recalled something I read a while ago and it refuses to get out of my head. The General gist of the story was as follows:
There once was a kingdom that was plagued by a race of mist/fog-like beings (Fairies?) whenever the sun would go down.
The only thing that could ward them off were a special type of tree, so the king of the country surrounded his castle with them.

This week, the Mane 5 have to catch a ferry even though they have a flying RV, Zipp doesn't know how to fly around storm clouds, and Sparky is still eating everything in sight.
