In the season opener of Season 7 Twilight is going nuts thinking about all the bad things that could happen if starlight gose out on her own then comes to the conclusion that its not a bad thing for starlight to go out on her own which is understandable...

Yeah, I'm late with this. I'm late with everything just now. Anyway: a step up from last week, mostly due to the fantastic Starlight/Trixie snarkfest. We didn't really need anything else. We got Thorax, who seems to have put a few of Ember's lessons into practice. We also got Pharynx, who was fairly fun. But apparently bullying is good. Hmm. With just the ponies arguing, this could have been a four. ★★★

I've actually seen the finale already, but my schedule hasn't got back to normal yet, so... this wasn't bad by episode 24 standards. Made me feel outright sorry for Starlight in a way I don't think I had before. Still don't find Sunburst that interesting, though. ★★★

I was a bit underwhelmed with this week's episode. For a start, it was really three short specials stuck together with a rather weak camping story. I didn't find the legends that interesting either, a little surprisingly as I've generally enjoyed the comics they tie in with. Also, while I loved the clear affection Rainbow showed towards Scootaloo, I didn't like the way Scoots herself reacted. ★★

Celestial Advice:

Not a whole lot happens, aside from Twilight not sending Starlight away. It was also pretty cool seeing some development from Celestia of all ponies. Overall it was a very good episode. 8/10 Very Good

Yeah, I know, I'm late. In brief: this was a good episode. Fluttershy was great, Twilight was generally reasonable, Zecora was back, the swamp fever stuff was surprisingly dark, things worked out in the end. I'll be watching this one again. ★★★★

Given that I'm in the unique position of having almost an entire season ahead of me that I haven't watched, I thought it would be funny to look at the titles of the episodes, and try to extrapolate an entire premise from just that. A bit of a mess, really, though often an enjoyable mess. One particular oddity regarding vocabulary and a few missed opportunities, but a fun song and some decent silliness. I don't ask for literary brilliance from the show, so this scraped a pass from me. ★★★ (just)

No, not Aragon's nearly identically titled story. This is the latest episode, which I resisted the urge to watch early. It's reasonably fun, too, if no classic. I liked the legend and the accompanying animation style, but Rainbow is stupid at a crucial time and the victory method seems unforeshadowed. Also, how did they not recognise Caballeron? Still, fairly entertaining, and Pinkie was good. ★★★

Well, since I watched the leaks that came out last weekend, I can confirm that there are no more songs coming.

For obvious reasons I won't be doing episode blogs for a while. I am, however, able to watch the show. I rate today's episode 9/10.

Wow! Okay, is it me or are we getting a lot of episodes about parenting this season? I mean, the first episode was about letting your loved ones go and how they’ll always have a place for you in their hearts even as they are growing into better people. The third one was about how important it is to give a loved one proper care and attention rather than taking on more than you can chew just to prove that you’re Superhuman. Generally watchable and fun, but a step down from last week. Ember was good, if even more tsundereish (or whatever. I don't speak anime) than usual. Thorax was moderately interesting, which is the best we've had from him yet. Spike was Spike. One very amusing running joke involving Twilight and Starlight. Not bad, but not amazing. I guess it shades into a ★★★.

After watching this weeks episode, I can say that I emphasize hugely with Princess Luna. As someone whom has worked a night shift job I can explain exactly what Luna's night is like.

1) The job is BORING. You will get lonely, and you will start talking to yourself to keep your mind active. If anyone catches you and says that you're acting weird, just them that you do it because you prefer intelligent conversation.
