I thought I'd give my take for the last episode of the season:
Soon you will be a part of the collective. Then you will all be equal.

In his book Unweaving the Rainbow, Richard Dawkins challenges the idea that a scientific understanding of natural phenomena somehow lessens their beauty and the sense of awe that they inspire, and instead argues that the exact opposite is true. The title is from a quotation by Keats, who said, maybe in jest, that Newton had destroyed the poetry of the rainbow by 'reducing it to the prismatic colours'. (Incidentally Unweaving the Rainboom was my working title for
Hello there, readers (all five of you, lol)!
Within the next few hours, as soon as Ponyville Ciderfest concludes, I will publish a new story here on Fimfiction. It was my entry for the Storyteller writing event at Ponyville Ciderfest, which was published along with many other fine stories in "Scattered Pages: Tales from the Book of All Stories."
But that isn't the only thing this post is announcing.
I'm in the middle of writing chapter 7 of Super Sonic Rainboom and I find myself faced with a bit of a problem. My original plan was to just have Sonic grow up as the events of the show progressed, but that will not be quite feasible for a couple of reasons.
Reblogging on behalf of my buddy Trinary, and you can find the original blog here:
First of all, apologies to my fans (all three of you) who've been waiting for more regular updates. Life has been … distracting over the summer, and I will certainly try to do better this fall. I still have one story, Diamond and the Rough, that I hope to finish before the year ends.
Sort of, anyway. In the new chapter I just put (yes, shameless plug, but it is my blog after all), I did have Sunset mention about The Mission, one of the best Goth bands to ever come out (or as we did call it back then before Goth became fashionable, death-and-horror). Of course, Wayne Hussey should be familiar to those who are into New Wave and the Goth subculture, being lead guitar for The Sisters of Mercy before a falling out with Andrew Eldritch made him form The
Just a quick note.
Life didn't get in the way. It tried, but it didn't stop this train.
Get you some more slow build Sundagio.
See you in the new year with chapter 4!
Hey everyone, I finally finished my next set of headcanons!
This one has to do with the human counterparts of Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy.
(Sunset Shimmer and Sci-Twi will each get their own entry for headcanon material. Just so you guys know.)
But anyway, here are my own personal thoughts on the backgrounds and quirks of...
The Humane Five:

So I may or may not have been drunk (the answer is not, but I WAS sleep deprived) when I decided, "Let's see if I can make it appear like the Rainbooms are the bad guys of Rainbow Rocks."
Welp, check out what my sleep-deprived mind came up with! It was solely for fun.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrreetings everypony, and welcome back to Deconstruction is Magic, my Retrospective/Review/Analysis of every episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is magic ever. Today, we have a minor epic on our hooves. It's The Cutie Mark Chronicles! Without wasting any more time, let's get on with the analysis! I am the Mage of Mind, reminding you, as always, that even a cheeseburger can be deconstructed to its source.
I have like 21 drafts and I don't think none of them are going to make it out of the works. Not now at least... I've just resparked my interest in this fandom and I got another idea that arose after watching Sonic Rainboom. Gonna work on that. RIP other drafts, lmao.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrreetings everypony, and welcome back to Deconstruction is Magic, my Retrospective/Review/Analysis of every episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is magic ever. After taking a short break for mental health reasons, I am back for more pony analysis! Today, we have an episode that I used to name as my all time favourite, Sonic Rainboom. Does it stand up to re-evaluation? Without wasting any more time, let's get on with the analysis! I am the Mage of Mind, reminding you,

Well in the second part of my now three part look at the EQG movies I take a look at Rainbow Rocks and give my thoughts and opinions on it. If you're interested check out the video below!
Back when this teaser image was released nobody said the words body swap (if somebody guessed it, they didn't comment on it), but it's been advertised this entire time. Show, don't tell is a powerful tool for mysteries!
Q: What appealed to us about doing a body swap story?
