Holy crap this chapter took more work than chapter 8, despite being like half the size. I used to have this nasty issue of glossing over something that I didn't feel like explaining at the moment or planning on explaining later then forgetting. I didn't take good chapter notes as I went along.

Honestly, there wasn't a whole lot wrong with this chapter. Mostly some bland descriptions and not setting the mood properly.

Okay this time I admit I abused the "I did this..." rule a tone. There were other random sections where I knew I had a purpose for them at the time, but after rereading it, I had no idea what they were reffering to. I spruced up some of the descriptions, as a lot of it felt kind of...basic. I added in more emotion and tried to really drive home hoe the current predicament was psychologically messing with the Taraskans.

Aaaaand there we go! This chapter was a little more tricky. I had some confusing numbers in the squads and made some writing errors. Also there was some context confusion about who was doing what. not sure if anyone noticed or cared, but I did. Tried to make it a lot more gut-wrenching and heart-breaking.

Okay so my ending plot points are just...super messed up and I have to fix them. There's a lot of " Situation A needs to happen so person B can save person A, but person B can't get there until situation B and AAAAAAAHHHHH!
I thought I had resolved this, but when I started writing the chapter, I realized there's a few vital details I missed and changing ONE changes like three others so I'm taking time to figure it out.

Okay...it's almost here. I'm not gonna give numbers, but I'm so close to marking KOTD book 1 as completed. Like I'm on the home stretch where a lot of chapters are prewritten scenes from back when I first started writing KOTD. This point until the end is planned out storywise, with plenty of room for me to add new stuff. I'm so excited but a tad sad to see book 1 be done and over with. With the next chapter, I'm gonna crack down and edit a few more chapters.

Okay so I found like...two errors in this one. There wasn't anything wrong with it, and it's been that way for the last two chapters, so I think the worst is over. My main focus though, was to lengthen the chapter. It was sitting at a cringy 1600 words give or take. So I added about another 600. There's more plotting and predicting, as well as our heroes learning more about the world they're in. I think it looks a lot better, and I'm rather happy I decided to edit it tonight. Have I been working on King of the Dead? Yes. Has it all been on the next chapter? No. The next chapter is like 90% of the way finished, but I keep getting these huge urges to work on some of the final chapters, which in my opinion, are going to be super badass. Thank you for being patient!

Progress on the next chapter is going well, but I'm having a hard time finding just the right music to help me write. I need something that pairs well with telling a sad story.

The combat in chapter 35 was...well there were a few minor changes to make. This one was less on combat and more on consequences though.

Didn't change much in chapter 36. A few typos, changed some wording is all.

This chapter is kicking my ass. I'm so close to being done with it. It tells another part of a very familiar story in the MLP universe but from a different perspective. I didn't realize until I got to it, that there are a lot of questions I have. I'm filling them in, coming up with how I imagined things played out and why. I REALLY don't want to rewatch the episodes since I've seen them enough. All in all though, this chapter should be fun! Thanks again for being fans! Chapter should be ready

Okay so decided to edit chapter 12 another time because...well it's super long. But anyways I got the next chapter ready to go so keep an eye on your feeds tomorrow! Thank you all for being patient! This next chapter's a dousy so do me a solid and leave me some feedback please and thank you!

I know I haven't posted anything in a while, my life got flipped upside down. not gonna bother going into detail, just the next chapter of KOTD that I wanna edit is a big one. I'm saving the next new chapter for when I feel that my beginning chapters are better. I'd like to draw more people in and I'm sure after they got halfway through the tragedy of chapters 1-11, they probably gave up.

I haven't reread chapters 30-40 in a looong time. It feels so weird cause there's scenes I completely forgot about so in a way it's like reading my on book for the first time. I wonder how it would feel to have amnesia then getting to read your own books. Anyways, besides weird formatting and some sentences that could use sprucing up, didn't find much in the way of editing. Man Linkin Park really helps with editing these more emotional chapters.

Added in some extra dialogue, some better descriptions to better depict how people are feeling. I think the entire thing flows better now. I stil gotta watch how I keep starting every sentence with "I did this" or "I did that"

*Cracks neck* sweet lord these long chapters are murder. I mean yes they're long, but I've read them so many damn times, especially this chapter. I had spent a long time trying to make the descriptions short, sweet, meaningful and poetic. I still saw some previous dialogue problems, back when I'd say the body language of who's talking, then put in a comma, followed by the dialogue.
