It was only a day before he would be released from the hospital; Pharynx obviously wasn’t too happy at the moment to even think about it.

He kept his head buried in his pillow when he heard the door opening.
“Pharynx? It’s me, Bez... again.“ The changeling walked up to him. “...Pharynx?”
After a few moments, the male changeling turned to face her; he had obviously looked like he had been crying for a while... not that he still wasn’t crying now.
“Ugh! Stupid mice!” Pharynx groaned loudly, constantly swinging a broom at the many rodents that scurried around the throne room.
“Still haven’t caught them?”
“Not even a rat tail. I kept telling my brother not give Ocellus permission to complete that one project for ‘Professor Fluttershy’.”
“Well, I might have an idea.” Flutterwings took out a small recorder.
“They fall if you hit them with an axe.”
*seductively takes off glasses* “Wow... “

Chrysalis was pacing in front of Pharynx, Thorax, and Ocellus, who were lined up in front of her.
"Okay you three, first we'll start with a basic flip-"

Pharynx opened an eye, before sitting up in bed. “...What’s up, shrimpbug?”
Venom huffed quietly, ignoring the nickname. “I uh... heard what happened with you and that... guy uh... what’s his name?”
“What? My dad? Psh, come on Venom, that stuff was nothing. I’m over it.”

“Sheesh, calm down, Venom. What do you want?”
“You’re a meateater, right?”

“Good, then you could help us with the bonfire!”

“Yeah, our cousin’s gonna be there!”
