What Episode(s) Would You Like to See Me Do Running Commentary On?
What I plan to do is (first get high, then) instruct the viewers to watch the episode at the same time as me and then offer running commentary on it as it goes. That way I have to do 0 editing, which is good because I have 0 editing skills. I ain't no Silver Quill or DWK.
Hey! Not sure how many will still see this final entry. Been a minute, innit. And I'm afraid it'll probably be another minute; I've not returned to Fimfiction to stay. Also I'm sleepy as fuck rn cos I'm usually waking up four three hours from now so prepare for nonsense.
Loyal RCL readers will find a treat waiting for them in today's story.
Left Behind
[Drama] [Slice of Life] • 4,721 words
Fluttershy has been called away on an adventure. An adventure without Rainbow Dash.
If I'm not completely wrong then the third season of SAO started this week. I decided to wait with watching it until this is over and I've caught up. S3 should only be about halfway over then. Maybe I'll even continue with these blogs. We'll see in the future.
And Chapter 1 is out! I've rewritten chapter 1 of She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, and this time I didn't delete the old chapters in case you want to see how terrible they were before. I will keep them there, even though I intend to vastly change the story, just for historical purposes. It's good to see where you've come from, I believe. I also really wish I didn't delete the Girl I Left Behind Me one.
Anyway, as usual I hope you enjoy and if you're interested in being an editor, let me know. Thanks!
"The road to fascism is lined with people telling you to stop overreacting."
Adán: Personally, I think, you're just overreacting.
Told Ya So!
Hey!
So yea, Everfree Northwest happened. It was a whirlwind like most cons are, but with the added twist of Twilight's Book Nook, EFNW's first-ever bookstore. It went swimmingly. IIRC, we sold ~72% of our books by revenue and ~60% by unit (which is to say, a lot of the bigger, more expensive books sold well), and I signed a lot of autographs. So many autographs, holy crap. Apparently, y'all like Compati: all 25 copies sold out!
Today's story is an addicting read.
What is Left
[Dark] [Sad] [Thriller] [Tragedy] • 24,301 words
Five years of cheap thrills in the big city have left Sweetie Belle in bad debt with dangerous ponies. Forced to pay up, she returns to Ponyville to seek money from an estranged sister she loathes with a passion.
Have a tiny excerpt:
Nightmare Moon stood in the crossroads, regal and horrific in equal measure. Wings draped around the mare like a cloak, the long primary feathers fading to nothing before touching the dirt that embraced Chrysalis. Hooves armored in cobalt plating hovered just off the soil, not so much as a shadow of the Mare in the Moon even touched the ground, but her gaze weighed heavily on Chrysalis.
This pleases me greatly, if you couldn't tell by the stream of 'Yay!'s.
As one of seemingly only a few people on the entire Internet that genuinely liked the reboot just as much as the old movies, I do hope the girl team at least gets a cameo or such, though.
Friendly reminder to all and sundry that there's about three weeks left to submit your Most Delightful Ponidox. We've already gotten some great entries, but I'd love to see even more. And while I can't really accept it due to a number of logistical factors, Aragón's latest comic is a perfect example of what I'm looking for.
Everything in order!
I'm back at the writing table, we have a lot to do, but I think we can do it!
Just need to write a special chapter for Welcome Home Soldier and then my focus will exclusively be on on the sequel to The Legend Of Nicholas!
Take it away Spike!
Jesus Christ, it's been over eight years since I joined this website. Eugh. Time flies, I suppose.
So, what would I say of my time on this website? A few words describe it, though they carry mixed emotions.
Here's a bit of fun trivia: According to Google Docs, I originally wrote the chapter of My Little Dynamite: Book 2 a year ago. May 26th, 2015. Almost a year to the day. Damn, I move slow.
I need to be more like Luna.
...and didn't call her the next day.
I was going over my notes and previous chapters of AGOK to make sure I didn't miss anything. Whelp, it turns out I made a little error in the latest chapter: Porthos (and the Unexpected Lesson in Friendship). I have made a small change to fix it. In case you've already read the chapter, you can get a short explanation below.
Spoilers below. (duh)
Happy Halloween.
I know it's, sometimes, confusing how certain people appear within our society. You might not even notice the costumes tonight, if you've been browsing through any social media accounts of liberals and leftists, but today's the real day of costumes.
Halloween, when human beings, suddenly, become leftists for a night and in jest.
Some handy neo-pronouns:

Vampireself
Werewolfself
