Two Background Ponies Quickie: "A Health of Information" Aftermath · 7:00pm Sep 24th, 2017

As the Ponyville Hoofball team scored again and the crowd erupted in cheers, a certain blue stallion gave a hesitant clap as he looked around in the bleacher area for somepony. Not seeing him, he sighed and looked back to the time. It was nearly the end of the first and still no sign of him. He eased back into his seat momentarily and watched the game again.

So weird! · 3:01pm Jan 10th, 2018

I was telling my therapist about my writing (in very vague terms) and how I really enjoy 'rage against the heavens' as a trope (see also bellikos rising against their creators in that EQ expansion) and they started connecting it to my parental issues.

And it made sense and yet I had never made that connection. It's so weird to observe my own habits and thought processes like that.

If you're feeling dead and tired in the morning, try out this 'remedy' I was taught! · 3:43pm Dec 30th, 2019

Here's a morning hint for you to not feel like you just got hit by a bus the moment you wake up -

Get some pure green tea and then get a juicy lemon, cut a slice out of it (not too thick, otherwise you're going to be having a citrus acid attack) and place it into the cup after you've poured boiling water into it and removed the tea bag. Make sure it's the first thing you put into your body, don't even eat anything before you drink it.

I know I've written about the mind-body connection before, and how important it is to listen to your body. Great idea, right? Listen in to your body, make sure that you understand how what it is telling you relates to your mental health! Easy peasy!

Update · 7:57pm Jul 22nd, 2022

hi,

I'm alive :) I've been rather busy and I just got off of a double whammy of COVID and pneumonia.

I am sorry I haven't been as busy updating my fics. I lost interest in All The Time in the World, but I do plan on finishing Starlight Glimmer's First Student: A Human. It might just take a while.

Please stay safe, and be kind to each other.

Small health scare at my appointment today · 10:26pm Jul 12th, 2022

Nothing serious! I simply had a seizure while the obstetrician was performing the sonogram. Lasted about 8 minutes and that was concerning enough (because that legally counts as a Grand Maul Seizure instead of an Petite Maul Seizure...which is approximately a few seconds to up to 3 minutes long). So thankful the health clinic I go to knew how to handle that situation. My s/o was practically besides himself with worry (which was sweet), despite me reminding him that these things happen sometimes

Abortion in Today’s Society · 7:15am Apr 27th, 2020

Abortion is one of the classical areas of healthcare ethics. It deals with issues concerning contraception, sterilization, and abortion itself. In most of countries, women have legal rights to choose in favor of abortion. However, such decisions do not solve the ethical issues connected with pregnancy termination. The legal right of a person does not necessarily imply moral rights. In the nursing profession, professionals should determine their roles in the abortion procedure. Even if the

Salsa with your eggs, ever tried it? Its supposed to be great! I had it this morning but I don't think I added enough salsa to it. It is supposed to be really, really healthy for you though. Highly recommended it if you are trying to eat healthier. I will add other stuff to my eggs tomorrow, experiment a bit until I get something I love.

The Incredibly Metal Journey [episode spoilers!] · 2:09am Sep 19th, 2017

If you haven't heard, this season is completely fucked as far as release dates go. A Health of Information, this coming Saturday's episode, was leaked in Russia, and you can now find it on Dailymotion with English subtitles. So while I can't say I've seen the final version of it, holy shit.

If not for Twilight's Kingdom, this would be the most metal episode of MLP:FiM ever.

Lost a best friend this week. · 8:40am May 15th, 2022

... I mean, we had it coming.

Our relationship has been growing increasingly toxic as of late. He would always be approaching me for help with his emotional problems (sometimes contacting me in the middle of the night) and I would be there to provide comfort and reassurance the best I could. But when I would be the one approaching him with my anxiety issues, he would shrug me off with a, "That's nothing. Don't worry about it."

More accurate Mind Scanners diagnoses · 7:48pm Jul 12th, 2021

Any of you heard of this indie game called Mind Scanners? Markiplier made a Let's Play of it:

Anyway, it is a psychiatrist simulator (for lack of better words) that takes places in this dystopian future, where you scan your patients' minds, declare them sane or insane, and use all sorts of gizmos to cure your patients of their insanity should you declare them insane.

I just wanted to share my feelings real quick. I love mlp and everything involved but hate myself for not having friends. It's not normal to be stuck on the internet, or at least online, without friends? Not even here do I have friends. Lol. :derpytongue2:

So, I first off wanna apologize for the slowness of chapters and activity of late. The reason I've been slacking is that I was recently hospitalized due to a severe anxiety attack. To say as little as possible, the doctors said it was one of the most severe that had been recorded on file. So that's something I guess.

So, my cancer may have come back.

Yeah.

They're going to do some tests after I get back from the US trip, but there's good evidence from my blood tests to suggest a recurrence. This is... highly worrisome. It's starting to keep me up at night. This thyroid cancer wasn't supposed to be so aggressive. Hopefully Iodine is still effective against it. There's no reason to believe it won't be, but still. Worries me. Amps up my usual anxiety, that's for damn sure.
