Hello everyone! Yeah, I've finally finished the next chapter! With a lot of it, I struggled with the sense of scale I was trying to convey. In a sense, I was thinking of the market scenes you would see in the show Firefly, which to me felt real, alive. I've been in markets like that, back in 2010, when I went down to Guatemala. The markets are loud, filled with bartering, and they're always a treat to be in. You never know what you'll find (In my case, I found an actual Cavalry Saber.
Hey fimfiction. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here. Not since June. It’s wild how much things can actually change in five months. I decided to post on here because when it comes to spilling my non-story thoughts, this is definitely my safe place (thank you MLP fandom for that).
A milestone I'm very happy to reach, some three-plus years after its initial publication. 
In some ways, it's paradoxical--TLaTU is easily my most unpopular story in terms of like/dislike ratio, yet also my most commented-on one, not counting Turnabout Storm which wasn't originally mine. I daresay it's also my most ambitious and accomplished for bringing the impossible ship to life believably.
As Silverblade5 pointed out, the duel between Gavian and Thunderbolt lasted considerably longer than five minutes. And though it's tempting to say that this simply happened on DBZ time, using their definition of five minutes (where it lasts eight episodes), I won't.
With myself fully charged on testosterone after receiving my pellet implants two weeks ago, and my masculinity thus being properly toxic again, I find myself with plenty of energy and ability to work on clopfics, Eros not the least of them. After last week’s release of a double-length chapter went so well, I thought I’d give folks some sense of where I was going to be heading with it and what was planned for the future, as well as ask what readers might like to see.
A few of you may be aware that November is "National Novel Writing Month", in which aspiring writers practice writing quickly by writing 50,000 words in one month. I won't lie, I tried to do this, and failed miserably. The combination of exams and upcoming Fo4 has dug (and will dig) a lot of time out of writing. 
You know, I've been sitting here for a while, looking at the blank blog page, trying to come up with something to say. It's strange; it's like I have so much to say, yet so little. This blog will be a bit rambly (which is probably what you'd come to expect if you've been following my blogs), so apologies for that. Hit the break if you want to hear (well, read) me talk about Monsters and what went into its creation, as well as my plans for the future.
For those who aren't following, a new chapter for UTM has just been published. I'm aiming to get Chapter 6 published later this week, but I might need some help from the temporary proofreaders/editors who've contacted me since the last blog post since things have gotten pretty slow lately. I know the holidays can really take up a lot of time, but I'd like to get these chapters out with the tensions still high.
First off, some news about the near future of my first alternate universe:
I once intended to publish a supplemental work to the Terminus & Exordium arc with Equestria Daily in mind, but stopped after the third act to continue on with the current arc. This work is on my deviantArt, and may actually be rewritten as a follow-up to this arc once the latter is wrapped up.
So I just published a new chapter for Only Time Will Tell, you can go read it if ya want. It exists and I plan to add another soon. As in like within a week or two. More likely one than two. It's no Even Stars can Fall in terms of romance, but it's kind of a fun adventure thing I'm doing in the same world involving my favorite pony Minuette. Anyway, I'm gonna do another push to work on stories again, wish me luck on that.

Five Star Service, my first story on site, has finally passed the 300 like mark! I'd like to thank all the longtime readers of it, and everyone who ever commented on and contributed to it. It was my first and remains my most daring and unusual story in many ways, as well as sporting one of my biggest screw-ups that required a complete rewrite of two chapters to fix (The Attorney ones).

Just wanting to give a quick update on what's going on with some of my stories going forwards. With Change: Queen of the Hive over with, some of you may be expecting me to start Change: Avia right away. However, I think I'm going to wait a bit before diving into that, if only so I can take a break from writing it and come back eager to go. This also gives time for the person I've commissioned the cover art from to return from their break and crack on with it.
Just wanted to let everyone know that in the first half of the month, I'm going to start a revamp of The Lawyer and The Unicorn, giving it the same attention and treatment I gave Turnabout Storm last year. That means edits, cleanup, fixes, and even the possibility of some new content.
Oh my God I can't believe that it's been over two years since I last updated and for that I'm sorry. So for anyone that is still around I'll be doing an update about some stories that I currently have planned.
