Yep, I saw it. Holy crap did I see it....
I wont lie, Season 5 almost made me lose interest in MLP for various reasons (Season 4 didn't really help either)...but gosh darn it I loved the first episode of Season 6! I loved it so much, all I can say is that I will not officially attempt to make a blog post for each new episode regarding my thoughts on them. Of course, I'll wait for the first episode to get some traction and have others watch it.

In the story, the villain's hair is described as a portal to eternity. Essentially, it's like Luna's mane if her mane was a window into space. The villain's mane in this story also changes based on her emotions. When she's thinking hard, shooting stars may fly by (like in the image) and when she's angry, a supernova will go off. When she's REALLY angry, her mane will engulf in flames like the sun. I wanted to show this in an animated GIF so here you go.

What is the Crystal Empire? (Besides Hasbro's advertisement for "crystal" toys.) It's completely unexplained, messes with the whole "There are three pony tribes, and they founded Equestria" thing that was explained in the Hearth's Warming episode, and it's in a geographically strange location.
I promised earlier on that I'd start doing shoutouts to celebrate 100 views on my story 'The Other Alicorn', which I shall tag to this blog. I have finally got my first shoutout, that is not a mlp character that is.

Alright, so as most of you probably know, I'm basically going through The Crystalling with a fine-toothed comb for the sake of Sunset Shimmer is MAD about EVERYTHING and even though there has been and will continue to be lots of Sunset picking things apart, I simply must bring something up with the below illustration.

Because I'm sort of drifting entertainment-wise now that I've finished Valley. Which is a great game on steam that is (was?) on sale for 2 bucks that is totally worth it. Anyway, drifting and thought about playing XCOM2 again. Which is how I found out that I apparently misplaced my FimFiction army soldiers. However, almost all of them were saved as images when I was showing you guys so I can remake them.
Also made someone new! Welcome the newest cannon fodder when/if I start playing again:
Ponyville was right on the front lines of the conflict. Everywhere Twilight could see evidence of the slaughter. Wounded ponies, wounded soldiers, nurses working overtime in camps. It was terrible to behold.
Pony Soldier: "They're attacking again! GET READY! HEY YOU!"
Twilight: "Ah?!"
Pony Soldier: "If you're a combat mage, help us! We're being-!"
He was grazed by a bullet and fell. A hulking Crystal Empire Trooper loomed over him him, brandishing a pony-style gun.

So I've been working a lot lately, more in life than on fimfic, but hey writing doesn't pay the bills (yet).
So two announcements:
First: I will be continuing with Earth Magic and Sparkles. The chapter is in the process right now.
Second: I'm working on a possible sequel for A Changeling in Friendship, which may come along pretty soon.

Well, still nothing to wirte home about, but I've uploaded my second brass quintet to youtube, with better sound quality and a different video style. Yes I realize the song was released all the way back a t the beginning of season three, but I still like it!

If you've seen my other video, I'd like some feedback as to which one you think is beter. I want this channel to be as good as possible, so feedback is much appreciated.
I live on the top floor, under the roof. I lost a window. It was a big shock; I sat next to it when a piece of chimney crashed inside. The thing weighed approximately half a tonne.
What I learned from it:
- It's not smart not to check the roof regularly (not my job, though).
- Splintering glass is loud.
- I have a sturdy floor and one hell of an awesome guardian angel.
- It's great to be healthy.
- It's okay to take a breather and comtemplate how you just did not die.
Twilight saw her other friends. All of them twisted and changed by the harsh war. It was heartbreaking to see them all like this. Fighting for their lives to save Equestria. And there was Shepherd...
He walked to a shack, and Twilight followed him. He looked over his shoulder at her.
Shepherd: "Something I can help you with?"
Twilight: "I... You're human."
Shepherd: "And you're an alicorn."
Twilight: "What?! How did you-?!"
Well, I thought I'd contribute to this, but it took me a while to decide on what I'd write or who for. In then end, I decided there are two people in particular who are deserving of this more than anyone else I know on this site. I may have only interacted with them once or twice and I've only been reading their works for a short while but I want them to know how much I appreciate their work.
