Hello, this is Zephyr Spark. As I've written more chapters of "Spike Meets Mimikyu," I've noticed that each chapter receives fewer and fewer comments. This made me worry that I have burned out my original audience who have grown bored of my long chapters and that I'm putting too much effort into a story that nobody cares about anymore. Hey gents. I've been kept pretty busy over the past year by lots and lots of science-y stuff, which has been epic, but pretty time and mind-consuming. At least I get a swish title at the end of it though! And money. Money is nice. I've discovered I quite like being able to spend more cash on booze and coffee.
I'm back in Scotland, and looks like I'll be there for the foreseeable future as well.

Never could find the time to flesh out the cast of characters in my head since I have to plan time for reading two or three books of lists of angels and demons and mystical stuff.
Ain't that great? I go to bed at 3:00am and wake up 3 hours later. I should be sleeping but I can't. Last night, I slept about 12 hours so I guess that's the reason.

Who kept up with my fics? Who has been genuinely entertained by them? Who actually wants to see them continue? And above all, who needs it to be me who continues them? Because honestly, I can't justify all of this.
You'll forgive me for my ignorance, but... what's the big deal? I know being in the featured box is a big deal, but is it mandatory for people who were in the featured box or popular stories sidebar to put that in the descriptions of their stories? Or is it more of a celebratory thing for the author? I'm just so confused. I see fics that say "Featured: 9 Oct 14" and my only thought is "That was years ago, why should I care?" I know that sounds mean, I think FF and AO3 have made me kinda bitchy

And I am at a convention, so I am spent, exhausted, drained.
