I've been thinking about this quite a lot lately. Are birthdays special? Everyone has one. Why do we celebrate the birth of another human into this world when we ourselves came in the same way? It's not special at all.

I have never regarded my birthday as special, in fact, I generally hate my birthday. It's just another day to me. Though I don't care for my birthday, I do celebrate the birthdays of those around me. I never thought to stop and ask myself why I bothered.

Just thought I'd let everyone know. Today's my Birthday. Yay. It has sucked so far but I know it'll get better soon. Come April 16th it'll be the first year I have become a brony. That's all for now later.

I forgot to mention this yesterday and the previous years: July 17th is actually my birthday! I’m glad to be able to live this long to have you guys follow me and my stories. Thank you all for your support!

Welp, I'm celebrating my birthday this weekend.

Won't say how old I am, but I'm sure some of my more astute followers could probably make an accurate educated guess. Suffice to say, I've been around the block a time or two.

Not much hubbub in birthdays as an adult. Sure, there are still some milestones, but they become few and far between. I just enjoy a time where I can relax and have a nice dinner at the family's expense--and, maybe, splurge a bit on myself for a change.
