JK IT'S LITERALLY JUST MORE NIGHTQUILL LOL
First is a little doodle of a nightquill scene in the upcoming chapter, so you guys get a teaser <3
“Princess Luna?” came a quiet voice, bringing her out of her thoughts.
Immediately, a spike of rage seared through her. Rude, lowly pony, interrupting me, how DARE they–
A hoof was placed on her shoulder. “Are you alright?”
Quote. It was Quote. Luna took a deep breath, somewhat rattled. She opened her mouth to say yes.
As you may be aware, The Writeoff is a great place where awesome people hang out, and sometimes we even get around to writing stories. Usually these stories are about ponies, because, you know, what else is there to write stories about?
Hey folks! So, on my last blog post, I discussed a particular project related to some of my work here in on FiMfiction. I mentioned then that I was working on two books, however. One was “Better With Robots,” and the other was a YA novel that was a bit further along. Well… about the latter…
A few months, I submitted a story called The Party Decides to the Writeoff, about
the Republican Establishment joining together Voltron-style to take on Donald Trump. I figured, on the eve of the final day of the Republican National Convention, it is time to show it to you folks before it goes stale. It has been lightly edited from its original form.
I hope you find it amusing.
Working on a little side project featuring my OCs. It's inspired by a combination of metal music and some of my personal experiences growing up. Link down below.
It's been quite some time now without new chapters, but I think I've finally got it. I'm already writing the 5th chapter, while the chapter 4 is being edited. Hopefully I'll be able to release it within this year. I'm still not sure about the ending, but we'll see once we get that far. It's not that close yet anyway. The amount of chapters should be somewhere around 8 or so, depending on how much I want to to continue the story after the final climax.
077 New story: Operation Wonderbit
Here's a short list of reasons why you might find Operation Wonderbit enjoyable:
- it's a multichapter [Slice of Life] story about a bunch of cheerful orphans (Chestnut, Wind Whisper, Glavia);
I felt like continuing the video series on my main game project, and came up with the undershown. Spotted a few dozen minor errors in the process. Yet the worse of then is still an imbalance in my audio capture. How is it I was able to get reasonable levels when recording the stream but I couldn't keep the game music from peaking? Blah.
Oh yeah, here's the video I'm blarghing about.
I'm bored and I'm currently taking a short break from memorizing dates for a quiz, so let's see your thoughts on some upcoming events for Equestrian Human!
If you want some juicy spoilers for what to expect in upcoming chapters, just click into the blog. I'm putting everything behind a page break for those of whom would rather avoid knowing major plot points ahead of time.
I made this segment about twelve hours ago. It's building upon a project I started a couple years back. The rest of the project needs some considerable work, but this segment here is something I'm fond of. Mainly because it's fresh and not overbearing.
Music for my Ikusa project. Likely to be unattached to any one story.
That's all.
~Leo.
I'm finally having some free time to work on my stories again. However, this doesn't automatically mean that the rest of the chapters will come out anytime soon. The chapter 7 is mostly done and I'm working on the next chapter as well, but as I'm getting closer to the end, it may take some more time to wrap things up. I'm also working on few other stories, (stories that you probably won't see for a long time) so there's a lot going on. I will need a new editor and probably a proofreader
David Rapp wrote "Newbie Dash", "Flutter Brutter", and "Where the Apple Lies" for season 6, and more recently "The Parent Map" for season 8. On the last one, I kept wondering, "who is this aimed at?" and it occurred to me to check for a pattern in the writer's credits.
One of the strange things about fanfiction is that its characters are premade. There is often no need to create original characters, because the show provides so many for authors to utilize. But all characters use the same building blocks. Writing a character in fanfiction is not that different from making characters of your own. For today’s post about writing, I’d like to discuss one of the fundamental building blocks of character: the archetype.
#1 is gonna happen no matter what's chosen though, so it's either skip straight to it, add a bit of relief to the recent burst in story progression, or a bit of explanation for those of you confused on what the crap is going on.
Choices below the break.
