I just finished Chapter 13 with almost 7,000 words..... Tomorrow will see a bit of tweaking and proofreading, but the chapter is for the most part ready for release. Expect it tomorrow, at the usual release time of 10:00 PM EST.

Do I sound frustrated in this blog entry title? If that's how it comes across, then that's probably because I am. There have been nasty things that slowed this story down, mostly heavy depressions. Thankfully, the story is not dead and I am in a better mental shape to work on it again and finally finish this darn revision of the current chapters.
So, since I had to miss the perfect release on the 2nd Anniversary of "Dreamwalker Dash", and therefore the chapter won't come out on the anniversary anymore no matter what I do, I am taking some more time with the chapter to make sure it's good.
One day late and now Chapter 8 of "Dreamwalker Dash" is here! Do you know what a skinwalker is? If you do, then you can tell that scary times are ahead and you can be sure that this story earns its "Dark" tag. If you don't know what a skinwalker is, well..... then you might not even want to know.
But no matter if you want to know or not, this chapter will not spare you from hearing about them..... Chapter 8 awaits with "The Skinwalker from the Everfree Forest":
Well, I officially failed to deliver the new chapter in time. I would say "I half expected it", since I'm only starting to bring the story back and I'm still in the process of bringing my schedule into full order after there wasn't as much progress with that as there could have been last year, but the circumstances that lead to a very minor delay now were actually very unexpected.
So, the short of it is, I suddenly don't feel too well. Mentally. I started the day joyous, but now that we got..... the confirmation that Generation 5, the entire show, will be full CGI, not just the movie that starts it, no, indeed the entire Generation 5 show, I..... That..... leaves me in shambles at the moment in a way I cannot explain, it's too complex to understand. I need to calm from that shock for a bit now..... At the moment, I cannot finish the chapter.

I have decided to move another "Dreamwalker Dash" chapter release to Thursday. I spent the better part of yesterday and Monday with digging into the most recent Generation 5 news and I have done as much as I could to try and finish the chapter today. But since it is getting late and I will be occupied with something else for the rest of the night, I will finish writing the chapter tomorrow.
Welp, the shipping shuffle is all set. Digest with caution.

So far, March has been more than a little crazy. In between a job search, a Search & Rescue callout that lasted until 5 AM, a network failure at work, and a short-notice trip to help my parents with their taxes, my writing schedule has gotten completely shot. I'm finally sitting down at a coffee shop for the first time in a week, and I'm too distracted to add words to stories. So I might as well justify tonight's cuppa by passing on some positive karma.
If you all will remember, some time ago I swore I'd attend the last Bronycon, but for a while things were looking rather rocky. Finances have not been great in Nyronus land, even by my usual abysmal standards, and my plan to save money in handfuls at a time was blown apart by spending more months than not barely in the black. Plus, shenanigans have diminished my tax returns greatly, which was my usual foundation for saving for Bronycon.
But, I have fortuitous news.
I guess you gotta admit your defeats when you can't avoid them. Unfortunately, I can't make good on my promise to still release a "Dreamwalker Dash" chapter this week..... The physical exhaustion in the middle of the week combined with pushing down hard to still deliver the next chapter of "Letters to Cozy Glow" this week, to have the new chapter of "A Storm on the Horizon of
"Dreamwalker Dash" is finally back after a small delay and now you can read Chapter 5!
We have an unexpected new character making her debut in this chapter, one who I decided to write into the story only very recently when I began working on it. And we have buildup for something that will be of significant importance for the story later on!

Here is a lifesign from Luna, Rainbow Dash and our new hero Hyper Sonic! The last remaining chapter to be revised is almost done to 2/3 and I should be able to do the rest today in the next few hours. Which means I'll likely be able to republish Chapters 1 - 3 over the course of this week, before a better and rewritten version of Chapter 4 will land here next Wednesday.
The long wait for "Dreamwalker Dash" will be over soon. I have picked up work on Chapter 9 again this week and next week, on Wednesday, the story will finally return to updating!
