To kick off the spooky season, Empress Batty looks at the episode that gave us the concept of Nightmare Night. And also properly introduced us to Princess Luna.

Greetings, my good friends.
This is your friendly film, TV show, and episode reporter here with another review.
And today, for my 6th installment of my "Spook Spectacular" series, and the final review on a Halloween-based film, I'll be reviewing "Hocus Pocus".
Here's the summary of this film:
Yay, I'd like to be honesty with you guys. This likely wasn't the best way to make my debut of reviewing installments of "SpongeBob SquarePants", but with the Christmas season being here, I couldn't get reviewing this episode out of my head.
So, today I'll be giving you all the seventh installment of my "Christmas Craze" series by reviewing "It's a SpongeBob Christmas".
I'm writing part of this on the toilet!
Today's story continues the Techie tradition of incinerating brain cells with stupid.
And of course, the first major presence of Gamer Luna in my stories. (Though she still mainly only exists in What If as far as my stories go. :P)
A month has passed. Humanity has less than a year to live now. Theresa’s progress on getting HAL to make the wind blow again? She has learned how to juggle…I wish I was joking about this. I learned how to juggle years ago, and I have not stirred up so much as a mild zephyr. Boutin also shows that he doesn’t know how archery works. Incidentally, I also learned how to do that about a year ago when my niece taught me. Back to the point, Theresa seems to be taking into account every factor
I've watched this one previously, but still, it'd been a number of years since that first viewing.
(Rewatched August 14th, 2023.)
Still every bit as good as I remember it being from the first time.
It's hard to really say anything "new" with regard to the original Terminator. What can I say that other critics or other writers haven't?
As some of you may remember, I used to do reviews of every MLP episode, and stopped midway through Season 3. I still kind of wanna continue those in depth reviews eventually, but at this point I don't have the motivation. But since I've been rewatching the whole show, I decided I could at least muster up the energy to give my general thoughts on each season, though I'm grouping the first 3 into one 'review' since I already made full reviews of most of these episodes.
Season 1
Hey, y'all! I continue to exist!
Here we are nine-and-a-half months into 2023, yet this is only my first blog of the danged year. As usual, I have been writing a lot; finishing things has been another story, I'm afraid, and that one's yet to be told. I've been content proofreading fellow users' works-in-progress in the meantime, and past a certain threshold, I got my hands so full with theirs that I couldn't carry mine.
Look guys, it's one of my first successful crazy one-shots ever! Now y'all know how the crazytrain began. ;)
I really don't know what this monstrosity I wrote is. I should stop writing ideas based on ideas I come up with late at night.
Guess who's writing a review of their own story late at night? This boio right here!
