Began writing Pony-Me Part 3, revealing more info about Zoey's dad, who as mentioned in the currently-published chapter now runs the company. This chapter also sets up a new, continuous conflict that'll last until the end of the story, and will serve as an underlying base point to reveal even more lore surrounding past events.

Early dream sequence added to hint towards future events.
Added an Easter Egg referencing a particularly memorable line I saw in a textbook on radio communications.
Changed the personality of the Heavy-Coated Man to be more of a memorable character for the sake of future appearances in the story.

Well, awhile back when I went into hiatus to work on my next novel, I did promise that I wouldn't go completely quiet on content. So the next chapter is likely going to be a fair bit shorter than the previous ones, but honestly that's not the worst. It stops at a good, natural break spot and I've written beyond that so the chapter afterwards is already in the making. I'm just going to check over it, get some feedback on it and then I'm ready to release!

This has been your infrequent, inconsistent update from someone who's excited to use creative writing as an excuse to "forget" to study!

Writing can get a little bit annoying sometimes when you make up new characters on the fly. Or in this case, on the snake.

The next chapter's currently in progress, but one of the reasons for its delay---aside from the usual excuses of work, tiredness, and gaming---is that I'm having difficulty writing a scene with a one-chapter character in it. In an earlier chapter Leviathan detected a sea monster down in the ocean depths, and I was going to have the two of them cross paths.
