I've been a bit absent from the writing world for a while now. Mostly, it's because I just don't really feel the urge to write. Compounded with my new job, it's not really been on my mind for the most part. That doesn't mean, however, that I'm quitting. I know what's happening. It happens a lot to me. I get really into something for a while, maybe even get really good at it, but eventually my desires just shift off of it, and I find myself having to fight to actually do it. It's not boredom,

Sorry to say this guys, but...I need a break from writing here. No set date on which I'll return, but if you want to know what's going on in my life, keep going. Otherwise, you can go.

Here is the story I created for Viper Pit's Hybrid Contest:
This was an experiment with 2nd Person Perspective as well as trying to write more stories with Monster Mares.
Hey there! For those of you who will be at HarmonyCon 2020, at the beginning of February, these are the seminars I will be taking part in or running. The schedule is not set in stone, nor are they sure if the last two will be on it, but they are as follows...

Role Reversal can sometimes be the hardest to write for. It's because of Rarity's voice and mannerisms. I sometimes have to stop and go "That doesn't sound right" when it's coming out of Rarity's mouth and re-do entire parts of the story. Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie were easy because it's easy for me to get into their head. Rarity is another pickle altogether. I had trouble with Freudian Slip and I've had trouble with Role Reversal.
Jesus, has it really been four months since my last post on this thing? Too long, I say! Far too long. To that end, let us dispense with 2016 and all its maleficence and discuss things going on in the new year.
I cursed myself.
It was my fault, really, for assuming anything better than the worst for the year that opened with the swearing in of possibly the greatest embarrassment of the Great Experiment known as the United States. But I had yet to be crushed so completely and fully, and so I started the year out with an act of hope. I'll warn you now, this is gonna be a long ride, and not a fun one either. It has not been a good year for me.
Well, i never thought i would see it, a day where a fanfic actually captivates my reading attention fully and i actually am finishing this fanfic. its called "Vinyl and Octavia: University Days" This hopeful romance fiction has me crying from laughter and pain just from the way the characters are potrayed. i find this fanfic very very well written. I wish they would come back from their leaving and write more amazing fanfics like that one.
I greatly appreciate the fact that there's been a summary of the update posted. The rules sound reasonable enough. Coincidentally, I only got through about 30% of the post submitted to /r/mylittlepony last night outlining a message to the FimFiction team before I was pulled away from the screen.
As for the big thing, the new story tags:

I'm not sure who all on here still reads blog posts, but I have been told by a few people now that there has been questions going around regarding updates on Midnight Radiance. So I came back to clear up a few things.
Hey guys, so I come to you with a request. The FCC is planning to get rid of Net Neutrality. The basic idea of it is a fair and free internet. It doesn't cost us money to access websites like Twitter, Amazon, Steam, ESPN, CNN, iTunes, etc. And the FCC's plan is to get rid of that free access to those websites. We can still go on them, but the speeds will be much slower. If we want to have the regular internet speed, we'll have to pay money. This diagram explains it better
I've come in contact with an artist that is going to help me with my avatar and book cover. I'm using a piece she did in the meantime until they're done.
I've been working for a small part of the last few weeks to go over and clean up Shadow of Night, but I've been relying on a iPad that a friend had given me to stay in touch while I try to rebuild my life from virtually the ground up. But the iPad is not really a writer's tool, so I'm working on a solution.
